from my understanding it’s ejaculating that causes the loss of yang energy. I believe this because fighters will abstain from sex and masterbation before a fight to keep their testosterone levels high. Abstaining for a week+ will make your testosterone levels peak giving you all the advantages of higher testosterone like strength, aggression and so forth.
