I just finished this after binge-reading it for about a week. I really, really enjoyed it. It could've used some downtime between the major crises, but other than that, and despite that, it is still one of the best webnovels I've read.

Nope, I just searched for it and read it elsewhere, there are a few mirror sites that have it, although there are a ton of ads.

WW probably had to get rid of it due to korean publisher issues as i noticed the links were dead? Still, i'd rather read google cache for a good translation than start from chapter 1 with a translator of unknown ability.

 

You don't need to worry about quality. Just checked the first 2 chapters that are published and they are the same as the originally translated in wuxiaworld and that can be found in google cache or any aggregator.

That may lead to WW DMCA'ing them.

Wait so you can just use google to look at how it used to be in the past, as in reading every single chapter of it?
Now im just depressed knowing there was a way for me to read it and i didnt know until now...

 

As I understand WW doesn't hold the copyright so they can't actually DMCA this guy, the korean company should do it.
Also I checked with a few aggregators and it was a perfect match (depending on the aggregator is a perfect match or it has some differences) but it wasn't a perfect match in spacing to WW archived copy (it also includes 6 errors of either "fi" or "fl" missing). It may be because the archived has some problem with the spacing or it may be coincidende, dunno.

Well yes, not only that but you also have tons of aggregator sites and even some that create pdf and epub so you can download them to read whenever you want.

 

The issue is, they 'own the rights' to that 'translation' they've done. Just change the content a bit and it should be fine. Also, i think the korean novels got taken down for another reason than just the author , as pretty much every popular korean novel at the time went poof. Right around the time webnovel started too.

Those links have been erased from NU however here is chapter 2
I'm sure that you can find an aggregator or a cached copy of chapter 2 from anywhere else.
Then just compare using the following tool

You can see that is almost a word for word copy that includes 6 errors and it has a different spacing to the one I'm using to compare now.
Any translation will have nuances that are different, wording changes, sound effects. This has NOTHING of that so yes, that guy is stealing the translation and posting it as his.

The novel is fully translated already so it doesn't require another translation. The posted chapters are not a secondary translation but a plain inferior copy (has some errors present in an aggregator).
Most likely the next novel "picked" for "translation" is going to be Praise the Orc at this rate.
