And please don't recommend Reverend Insanity, i read it for 600 Chapters, not really my taste. If you can recommend novels that i REALLY liked, that'd be great. Novel i liked as a whole: Invincible Dragon Novels i liked most parts of, some parts not so: Plundering Heavens, ISSTH, AWE, ATG, Heavenly Star, Tales of Demons and Gods, Strongest System, Valiant Life, LMS, Wife is Beauty CEO, Warlock of Magus World, Coiling Dragon, the first 100? or 200 chapters of the novels extra, same with Life Once Again. A good korea novel is also appreciated.

I wanted to recommend Reverend Insanity but seeing it was not your cup of tea some good ones are Lord of the Mysteries, Trash Of The Count's Family, Legend of the Sun Knight, Emperor Has Returned, i personally liked Kill The Hero,
The Deer and the Cauldron It's possibly the best book I've ever read. Not only that, but it's possibly the most influential as well. Just about all Chinese writers either have read this book or they know a lot about it, and you can see just how much everyone draws from it. All around, it's very funny and it features one of the earliest anti-hero protagonists in Chinese literature. It's full of memorable characters and the ideas it contains are just so classical. I do suggest that anyone trying out this book read a proper wuxia novel first to see what they're supposed to be like as it would add a lot of context to what's going on.

First I want to say don't compare the two. Spoiler: Throne of Magical Arcana ToMA is from the author of the LotM. It's based on the science and magic theories. MC isn't an idiot and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Actually he's a chaotic nuetral type of mc. Compared to the others in terms of chinese western fantasy it's a pretty decent novel. But if you dislike stories where MC's main acclaim to power is through cheats, and not really hard work than this story isn't for you. Oh, I've to warn you that the ending is a bit weak. It was as if the author was in a hurry to finish the novel. Spoiler: Desolate Era Desolate Era is good in terms of world building and is really heavy on the Dao. It has an unpredictable storyline. But i must say that I didn't really enjoy the beginning, but it gets better when he gets a master and leaves his planet. Like all novels MC has plot armor to survive till the end as well as those clutch moments but I didn't mind those in this novel tho.
