Nope. It would be better if all the MLs (particularly Callisto) sot pricked. Sure he'll be pissed but I see it as somewhat payback for what he did in the garden and give him some challenge.

Callisto - got married to Penelope, had a daughter, was planning to adopt somebody to fill in as the position of king in case Penelope doesn't want to be queen (but she changed her mind)
Duke - gave her 5 years to go her own way, went almost ballistic when he discovered Penelope was pregnant but not married to Callisto, calmed down when Penelope told him she likes him too, got the grandfather role
Reynard - hardly mentioned but guess was a tolerable uncle
Derrick - same as Reynard as an uncle, seems to over about Penelope
Vinter - came back to be part of Callisto's court. Not sure if he was made as an advocate for magicians but he was there to ease tensions and protect them
Eclis - Saw Penelope in her 5 yrs out fo the Duchy, saved her but can't remember her. Went out of the scene after saving her.
Yvonne - was controlled by Leila, her spirit was broken free when her physical body was killed.

Anyone can correct me since I pulled it out of my memory.

In the side stories, it's revealed to us that he survived and lives as a mercenary. He lost his memory and he persecuted Penelope for 5 years. First, he chased her because he felt the need to kill her, then it was because he was curious. While she was studying archaeological sites, he was dedicated to killing monsters that appeared nearby (lol). When they meet again, she apologizes to him and tells him to go north (where his empire used to be and because there he would be safe from being executed for treason.).He listens to her and leaves.

Yes, because Eclise's appearance was the same, only now he was more taller and had some beard (if I remember correctly). She also recognized him because he kept wearing the slave collar (she ends up taking it from him, again lol).
Her apology was more for how things turned out between them in the past.
And yes, Delman was his empire.

I don't remember that scene very well, but what I do remember is that the Duke has no reaction to the guests (he ignores them). Perhaps, a different perspective would be shown in the manhwa.
