Something like Mahouka where magic or similar thing is well conceptualise. There are rules and laws in magic usage and raw talent isn't enough to be a good magician. Doesn't have to be a translated novel.
Lightbringer by Brent Weeks Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson (You probably know it but hard not to add while talking about magic systems) Earthsea by Ursula K Guin (Same as above) Godless by Ben Peek (Personal recommendation: One of my favorites) Translated novels aren't really known for their magic systems but I found Divine Throne of Primordial Blood pretty nice (Cultivation System)
I've read Branderson before and heard of Mistborn but I haven't gotten to reading Mistborn It's completed! Thanks

You know i Don't have that much free time so i Don't want to waste it on bad novels.so can u tell me your thoughts on this novel? Whats your review of this novel and is MC Badass? coz i want to read it! Plz give me your thoughts!
The Last Science by Etzoli. Not advanced enough because still in early stage meaning it's not widespread use yet, the mages are minority, the magic is still being study, technology is comparable to our own world because the story setting is modern world. The story is telling how humanity respond when they presented with new force, it's bring as much trouble as it's blessing to society. Just a Bystander. Advance enough through generation upon generation study and learning, magic is widespread use that common people can practice sigil and sign but are far from full fledge mage. Use modern equivalent technology through magitek like powered car/vehicle. A Hero's War. Once upon the time world was highly civilization by used of magitek through every states but alas some unknown event disturb the flow of magic and the impact absolutely devastated all civilizations ruined humanity and all sapience beings into dark ages. Nowadays people live in medieval like setting, through summoning ritual there's two people, one try to change world with social reform and the other through engineering fusing earth technology and world magic, people also rediscovered scraps of magitek from ruin. Oh the setting also include spellcaster/mages. Edit: Also want to include Mother Of Learning because the setting is kinda modern enough, trains and other technology are substitutes by magic technology, comparable to 19th century France.
Even as a 'veteran reader' I would still count this amongst the best chinese books I've read. It lacks a lot of the cliches that are incredibly annoying such as an abundance of face slapping and young master tropes. The transmigration of the MC and his earth knowledge actually make a difference in this story too (even if the latter is his lowkey 'cheat'. The romance is a bit hit and miss for some people but I didn't mind it. Plus no waifu collecting like pokemon either. Overall a definite good read. The authors other works are also ok as well (still worse than this though).
I wouldn't say that the MC is badass, but he is smart. The cultivation and talent in this novel are completely based on bloodlines and he creates his own path through imitating those bloodlines because he doesn't have them.
Heya!!! I think you haven't asked me about that novel.... But honestly I got nothing to do right now so I'm telling ya bout that.... So that novel is pretty good gonna be honest bout that..... But I think atleast 80% of the novel is filled with how mc is doing his research and explanation about them(note: he already knows the result of them as he's from an advanced world).... Ofc it's gonna be a great read if you're a fan of reading physics book of your school cuz it's filled with those stuff..... And aside that, honestly it's nothing special.... I was forced to drop it after I think 300+ chapter as it was completely boring.... As for face slapping cliche?? It indeed doesn't have them... But it still has that shocking the old dudes type of cliche.... And honestly........ I've pretty much skimmed through the whole novel as it's too much waste of a time to read
