Chapter 111-115

• Baron Ison was someone who would originally pray for Lina everyday until her return. He was someone who had taught her before and after her return, he would be rewarded as a mentor for the saint but Seria had other ideas about him.
• Seria asked Baron Ison to see her privately. The minute they went to a private alter, she pulled out her circlet and he fell. She laughed in fear as it seemed her hypothesis was correct.
• Research done by Linon was handed to Seria. Mies's mother was apparently a shaman. Not only that, the many years of Mies bringing in shaman to "cleanse" the green manor might've actually made the situation worse. It seemed Seria had not fully purify the manor as things are starting to act up again.
• When Linon went to the basement to check, at the place where the circlet used to be, there's an ominous dark swaying shadow. It was the dark shadow that used to have eaten the manor back then.
• Mies finally woke up. Elliot set up the torture chamber before Lesche entered and left them two alone.
• Lesche immediately interrogated Mies about his mother. It seemed she had entered the Berg originally from the start. She was also the best shaman. Mies was surprised Lesche found out. But the shamans that were captured couldn't endure the interrogation of Linon's interrogation and confessed everything, so it was discovered the circlet had been the goal all alone. Mies's mother used to harass the previous Grand Duchess for the circlet.
• Mies tried to lie to Lesche that the previous Grand Duke of Berg had loved Lesche's mother very much. The reason he all of a suddenly brought in a mistress and an illegitimate son is all because of the powerful magic the shamans have the ability to do. Lesche doesn't believe Mies since the chances of having magic that can control the emotions would've already caused the nation into turmoil. Besides Lesche already know his father was a disgusting man so he doesn't want witchcraft to be an excuse for his behavior of breaking the marriage vows towards his mother.
• The reason why Mies thought the former Grand Duke loved the Grand Duchess is because the pages her had from the diary was to have the the heir's wife obtain the circlet as handing over a heirloom, but what Mies didn't know was that if he had became heir, the circlet could've been his. (Reason he's not heir is because he's actually not blood related to Berg)
• Lesche tortured Mies and tried to wipe the blood from his hands before he opened the door. Seria entered the torture chamber with Elliot. Seria asked him about 'Ma-young'. Elliot came in and struck Mies on the head for screaming at Seria trying to ask how she knows that word. It's Lina's name that gets revealed in the later half of the original novel. It was more questionable that Mies knew about it.
• Seria used her divine magic to torture Mies into providing more answers. From what she gathered, Mies must've been able to obtain the circlet in the original novel, and somehow Nissos was able to get his hands on it and give it to Lina. When she asked Mies what he wanted with the circlet, all she could get out of him was he wanted to dedicate it to his "moon". Seria isn't sure if that's a nickname for a secret lover. Seria wasn't able to get more out of him so she's probably going to have Linon deal with the rest.
• After the interrogation, Seria ended up days in bed as usage of divine power can lead to a very weakened body. The night right before it, Abigail had asked Seria if Lesche would also be effected by the circlet and Seria he would be the most effected by it. Seria also fainted in the tub that Abigail prepared for her.
• Seria ended up sick for days and Lesche was angered at her overuse of her powers.
• Lesche ordered everyone out of their bedroom. Seria tried to look for the circlet but it was gone. Lesche broke it apparently. Seria felt bad it's broken but what's done cannot be undone so she didn't make a big deal over it. Lesche asked her why she had sent him to lead her to the basement in the first place but didn't let him enter. He had tried interrogating Abigail but Abigail isn't one to reveal anything even if she were to die.
• Seria told him that he would've been most effected by the circlet but she didn't explain why. He can tell it's because he's the saint's "husband". He wasn't too happy with it so he was going to leave. Seria called him and as she tried to get out of bed to go to him, she fell and Lesche rushed towards her so instead she fell on his chest.
• Seria told him that she's scare of dying and cried. Lesche felt conflicted seeing her crying and tried to wipe her tears. When she asked him why he's so nice to her, he told her it's because he loves her. It made her bashful and she admitted she also love him too. He immediately covered her eyes. Seria was confused what had happened. They were alone anyway so what doesn't he want her to see.
• When he removed his hands after her questioning about it, she noticed his face was red and he made some excuse that the room is warm because they heated it up for her since she's sick. He put her to bed and took off his clothes to change.
• Lesche told her she had fainted for 5 days. Lesche hadn't slept since then.
• The doctor came the next day to check on her condition. Seria's doing pretty well since Susan had taken good care of her while she was somewhat unconscious. Seria wasn't fully unconscious the whole time as there are times she would wake up a bit to have Susan feed her soup, but she wouldn't recall the events. Susan and the maids also made sure to wash her 3 times a day so she remains clean.
• In 2 days they're set to return back to the green manor. They couldn't find out more from Mies either. When Seria checked on Mies, all he does is mutter looking at the sky like some crazy person. What's even odder is the name of the circlet Mies calls it 'Scars of Bones'. The name itself is already creepy enough for Seria to have it connect to a saint.
• When Mies finally regain some senses, he told Seria not to trust her husband since there will be something to make him crazy just like the predecessor grand duke (referring to his mother who was able to seduce him). Seria told him that she already knows since she thinks Lina will be the one to make him crazy. She scared Mies into thinking she will torture him as she hold one of scissors from the torture chamber in her hand. Needless to say she didn't do anything since Abigail took care of it all for her.
• Seria visited the temple. The priests there greeted her. That morning she woke up to see the circlet next to her in it's original state. Seria wasn't sure what had happened since it was said to be broken. She decided to test it out and just as she test it out, Lesche entered the room. She was worried he would faint like the other people but he was fine. Seria got really confused why the ML was fine but then Duke Dietrich and Baron Ison fainted.
• Seria was still worried for Lesche so she tried to wrap her shawl around Lesche. She had a doctor tried to check up on him. Needless to say, Lesche is very healthy.

It seems like anyone who sides with Lina is affected by the circlet (turned necklace). Probably something related to demons too. And since Lina, as in the ognovel, didn't purify but instead absorbed the 'mold'/darkness, she'd probably end up being a vessel for some demon. That b!tch! Srsly, though. Maybe Lesche also ins't affected coz he has divine powers? I wonder if Seria can make Callis drop on his head too with the circlet so he can gtf-off of her.

Chapter 116-120

• Lesche had one arm on an armrest with his chin resting on it and the other hand holding tightly on Seria's hand. She tried to remove her hand but he just held it tighter. Even so, Seria was relieved Lesche was fine.
• Seria's legs were tire as awhile ago when she tried to remove her hands, he pulled her to sit on his lap and wouldn't let her go until dinner. After dinner, he went to his office. Seria knew he'll be finished late, so she went back to their bedroom to rest. She pondered over why he didn't fell. Over their earlier conversation after they had sex, she think it's because Lina might've put some divine protection on Lesche in advance somehow. Lesche wasn't sure why she would think he had contact with Lina. He was also more unhappy she was talking about other people while they're embracing each other naked, so in an instant he went above her and grabbed her chin to kiss her. At the same time his other hand was holding tighter around her waist. The hands then held onto her ankles and all thoughts were erased from her tears as her legs kept moving. His gaze was affixed to her face.
• But then after dinner, he told her that he did pass by the saint one time when her arm was bleeding. He didn't touch her though.
• Seria sat by the small table as she jot down "Lina", "darkness", "Mies", "Leche's blood", "sign". As she looked at her circlet, she then wrote two letters and had her maid take care of them. She went to bed early and fell asleep.
• Linon had informed Lesche that Seria fell asleep. Lesche pondered over the relationship between the 4 of them him, Seria, Lina and Callis. Just like how he doesn't like to talk about Callis, she doesn't like to talk about Lina. Apparently he also found out from Seria that Callis also have some sort of connection to the saint.
• He also recalled when Sera confessed she also like him and he had blushed and covered her eyes from embarrassment. He hopes once they've move to the end of the prophecy book, they will be fine. He's thinking of having a grander wedding.
• A few days after, Lesche was combing her hair while she sat in front of the vanity. Her three maids didn't know what to do when their master stole their job. Lesche wanted to do it since she never let him touch her head unless if they're in bed. Sera wondered why he even brought up that topic in the first place and he said it's because she let him touch her head when they're in bed, but then he would always mess her hair when in bed.
• Susan and Ben are away so Lesche also wanted to fix her hair when Susan isn't there.
• Linon came rushing in to tell them that they discovered a demon crystal mine in Seria's plot of land.
• Seria is still keeping the mine a secret. Linon was surprised to find out she had already filled out the paperwork right after her return from Kellydon so that meant she had knew about the mine beforehand. He wasn't sure how and she wasn't able to explain to him but she did admit she knew beforehand.
• Seria wanted to award him after she makes money off the mine, but Linon already earn a lot from his position. He also doesn't have anything else he wanted besides cleaning supplies. There was only one thing he wanted from her. he told her that if he makes some mistake 3 months from now, he would like her to protect him. Seria agreed.
• Seria went to purify the land with Abigail. Linon also went with her. She haven't fully purified the land where the mine is so they went to continue that work. In the og novel, Lina was able to fully purify the land in a week. Seria wondered how long she will take. Lina has overwhelming divine power, so she hope she will only have to take a few more times compare to Lina.
• Shortly after Seri'a divine power exploded. Everyone was surprised. Linon made a weird face. Abigail blinked to make sure she saw correctly.
• Seria warned them not to tell anyone. Abigail hold out her sword to threaten them. Seria told her, she doesn't have to do that. Linon will have to also get the miners to keep their mouths shut. It will become a huge story if they found out a land got purified overnight.
• They still have 6 months until Lina's return. If Lina returns and hear all of Seria's achievements, she'll realize it's the circlet since Seria wasn't born with very strong purification power.
• Seria is still trying to make the connection between Mies and Lina. Also why and how did Lina get the circlet at the auction house in the original novel. Also all those brothers who seem to love Lina at the same time, Cassius and Nissos, the 2 princes, Mies and Lesche, even though Mies isn't blood related.
• Linon asked Seria where they should put the altar. Seria was surprised they took the alter from the temple. Since she had been going to the temple to pray, she was suppose to spend several days purifying the mine, so he had the altar brought from the temple for her. They also had to pretend she didn't purify the mine in a day so they will have to stay there for a while.
• As Seria walked around to inspect the mine, she noticed something. Abigail went ahead to check since they noticed something flowing. When Seria saw, she had ordered all the miners out. Only Linon and Abigail stayed. They had discovered an even rarer mineral, constellation gold ore. It's a constellation gold mine, ore that is used to create their constellation armor that knights wear for their expeditions against the demons. It's the only mineral that can protect them from the demons. The last time a mine was discovered for this mineral was 100 years ago. The armors are so rare they're limited as well.
• There were still magi in that cave but they weren't able to get to her because of the ores. The knights went to bring the altar to the cave. Seria took out her circlet to purify the cave. Linon was finally able to enter. It was the first time Seria saw inside a mine. The glowing blue mineral was mysterious and beautiful. She then spotted something else, what she believed might be a weapon. It was also covered in magi. She tried to use the divine explosion power she had used on Mies before on it.
• Seria was able to find this mine easily because she's a stern. Just like how saints can sense divine power, sterns can sense constellation power. She can sense there's something inside the wall but they'll have to mine it out. Lina was never able to find this mine in the original novel since it was never mentioned before. She was able to feel the constellation power but somehow Lina might not have. Lina even visited the mine several times with Cassius in the original novel. Maybe they entered a different entrance. Or maybe Lina lied so she doesn't have to split the profit with Cassius. Lina should have been able to know since she's also a stern. But then why didn't she take advantage of it? She would've been more famous.
• She put the circlet on her arm and thanked the god of wealth while looking at the altar. Suddenly she saw a writing that said "here" and then it scratched out more msgs saying it's still here and if she saw this as being in a novel. Seria then felt her circlet freezing up, unlike when she was with the Duke of Dietrich it was heating up. She took her hand off the circlet and then a human crawling on all fours rushed to her. She tried to scream but her mouth got blocked and eyes got covered. Her vision went dark.
• When she woke up, she felt some odd sense of being as if she's seeing herself reading the novel of herself as Seria. She then also regain some sense as she noticed she's no longer inside the cave but at the night sky. The "human" before her was a creature with the silhouette of a human but can't tell if it's man or woman. The face was completely invisible and the long bangs covered its whole face except its lips.
• Some letters got engraved on her stern insignia. She asked if its name is "Tuban." It didn't answer her but somehow she can tell that is its name. Seria tried to question Tuban. Tuban's msg had apparently revealed she's not in a novel so Seria wondered what novel she had read before. The insignia showed more msgs. They seem to be from Tuban. Its asking her if she remembered the title of the novel.
• Seria felt weird as she remembered the contents thoroughly but never recalled the title. Tuban revealed to her that it was herself. She had wanted to live and turned back time. Seria tried to grab and shake it. It didn't work.
• Meanwhile, Seria's body was going through seizure. Lesche was holding onto her and they had a doctor came in to check on her. When she finally opened her eyes, they ran to grab water for her. She wasn't able to drink much from it. The water that spilled from her chin got wiped by Lesche with a handkerchief.
• They were at a manor that Paulbas had given them since it was near the mine. The doctor had been called over and examined her 12 times a day. Lesche called to her and asked if she can see him. She told him that she wants to sleep more. He held her up and put her in his arms. He's scare if she sleeps now, she'll continue to have nightmares so he told her to wait for the medicine first.
• Lesche then called to Abigail if she brought the insignia. Abigail shook her head. She told Seria she'll bring it right away and left the bedroom.
• The doctor came back crying with the medicine. The maids and doctor left the room as Seria can't take the medicine herself so Lesche will help her.
• Seria apologized to him immediately. She realized she had fainted for more than a week so that's why she was apologizing to him because he got worried for her. He called her cruel. He was upset she went and use her divine powers again, upset that it's so important to her for some reason to test something out, upset she cries without telling him what her nightmares are about.
• Seria told her she's not even sure where this place is or what she is. She must be crazy. Lesche told her then, he's crazy as well since he can't be sane when his wife is going crazy.

• Seria cried and asked Lesche if she could pass out again. She'll tell him everything when she's back.
• After trying several days of trying to get back to that place, Seria finally opened her eyes back to the dark space. She had questions to ask Turban. It told her that if she can't recall her memories, her body will break, because the moon. (If you recalled, Mies said something about the moon before.) Turban started to cry blood when Seria asked it who it is. it told her it is Seria's- Turban couldn't finish the sentence. It even try to tell Seria that her name and Lina's "real" name. They're names Seria can't remember. She remember sufferings as that person but can't remember the name she had before. They're names that Turban said aren't important so that's why she forgot them. If she doesn't want to die, she has to admit to herself as Seria. Turban told her to hug it when Seria wanted it to stop crying cause the bloody tears looked scary. She hugged it. When she hugged it, she can feel the power of the constellation and stern being transferred to her.
• Eventually she did wake up and it's been 4 days since she lost consciousness this time around. When she checked her circlet, she noticed the jewel got deeper. There's a limited amount of time she can visit Turban. She wanted to talk to Lessche but he wasn't there at that moment. Also the priests wanted to see her. It was then Lesche called her name. He had returned.
• Seria dragged Lesche to a quiet place so she can tell him everything. She doesn't really know the mansion well so she just drag him to anywhere that didn't have people. Seria started to tell him that she had thought she was in a book.
• The priests were surprised to see Lesche coming out of Seria's room. Everyone thought he was at his office but he wasn't. Lesche was in an upsetting mood. He does believe what Seria told him so that meant Seria turned back time. If it's truly not a book, then that meant he had actually married the saint. Originally when she first told him that it was from a book of prophecy, he didn't think it's that big of a deal since he's already married to Seria and he has no intention to divorce her so there's no reason to care about that. But if it was something that had already happened.
• When Lesche asked her if she only slept with him because of the stern's powers, she admit yes. When he asked if there's other reasons, Seria looked away. Lesche started to tease tease her and tell her to tell him the other reasons. She told him that he's good at it. He asked her what is he good at. She told him that he knows and he said he's asking because he doesn't know. Seria got upset and he laughed at her as he buried his face in her shoulder. Seria grabbed his face and kissed him. Her leg touching his inner thigh turned him on, but then she told him that the doctor had told her to be in a calm mood so she can't do it for a few days. He thinks she's taking revenge on him. He sighed and pinned her against the wall. They kissed for a long time but after he sent Seria away, he went straight to the bathroom. When he got back, Seria was already sleeping peacefully.
• Seria would have to pay the fee for the equipment to mine the constellation minerals. It's a large fee but she couldn't do anything about it. She can make more money off the minerals. She was thinking of getting Lesche a gift. She decided to check the auction house again.
• Seria had requested from the temple to have the stern insignia be transferred to under her name since she wanted to easily get in contact with Turban. But the insignia had never been given personally to a specific person so she had to wait for approval and some process. The met up with the priest who told her they accepted to have it be transferred under her. The imperial family will want them to host a banquet to celebrate since it's the first time in history for something like this. But the priest also sent a letter to the other stern. Since she's not here, Callis had volunteered to go in her place since the other Stern had to be the one to hand over the alter. He's expected to arrive in 3 days.
• When Lesche was informed by Linon, he wanted to just kill them. They can just take the insignia by force. Lesche thinks Callis volunteered just so he can see Seria.
• Lesche had went to Begonia's salon to get some outfits. Originally Begonia was taking care of Marlesana but when a staff had tried to take care of Lesche, he wouldn't tell him any details so Begonia left Marlesana and her husband to attend to Lesche. Marlesana who overheard he had wanted blue cufflinks and other accessories, realized he's trying to match with Seria's eyes. She thought it was romantic and thought if her husband would match outfits to her eyes.
• Callis was also preparing himself to see Seria. It'll be his first time visiting Berg mansion.
• The butler welcomes Callis to Berg. Callis was surprised to see many staffs since he thought Berg would be sparse. As the butler led him in, Callis's heart beat rapidly thinking of seeing Seria again but quickly cooled down when he saw the Lesche. Seria was nowhere to be seen. All the priests were admiring Lesche's appearance but Callis asked where Seria was. He called her by her name with her stern title instead of addressing her as Grand Duchess. Callis is unwilling to address her as Grand Duchess since he's still hoping to marry her. Lesche can tell and was upset over it. Even the priests around them can notice the subtle change in the atmosphere. Lesche answered by referring to Seria as his wife. Callis wasn't pleased with that.
• The two made comments at each other. Callis brought up that he is going to divorce Lina when Lesche called Lina his wife. The priests were too scare to interfere with them but someone told him that Seria is going to start the ceremony. Even so they softened themselves but then continued to argue right after when Callis try to bring up caring about Seria's comfort in having to host the banquet. Lesche told him that the only comfort Callis should care about is the saint's who is his wife. The priests tried to intervene again. Eventually the two decide to head to Seria.
• Abigail and Susan were gossiping over Callis. Seria recalled seeing Lesche who suddenly wanted to host the banquet and even went to Begonia to dress himself up. Needless to say, Seria almost drooled over his appearance, but she wasn't sure why he was putting so much effort into it since normally he doesn't even like banquets.
• During the ceremony, Seria wondered if Callis will faint from coming into contact with the circlet. But he was fine. He handed her the veil and placed the insignia on her and kissed the back of her hand.
• The following days, Seria continued to be busy praying so Lesche was busy hosting the banquet. The gloves that were kissed by Callis was immediately taken off by Lesche and thrown away. Usually Lesche would come see her at the prayer room after the banquet, but today Callis came to see her. He gifted her a new pair of gloves. She doesn't want to accept it but he was reluctant so she decided to just take it and give them to Abigail. Seria doesn't want him to call her by her name, but he doesn't want to call her by her grand duchess title. She wanted to end the conversation so she addressed him from his title, Marquis of Haneton.

I'm just a bit disappointed Callis was unaffected by the necklace. I thought for sure, he'd drop dead seeing how attached he is to Lina. Guess it's all thanks to his divine powers as well. I wonder how he'd react if/when he finds out Seria and Lesche have slept together. He'd probably call her immoral (whore/slut) based on his trash personality.

 

Lol Callis deserves everything he gets from his cheating.
