What is your comfort food when u: just wanna eat, something that brings u back memories, something u eat a lot when ur sick, your childhood favorite. Etc I’ll go first. I love congee. It’s simple but brings back flavors of Vietnam
Pho and congee with a century egg or a nice warm bowl of Mac and cheese . Mac and cheese reminds me of my childhood I ate it a lot growing up .
Yeah it’s really good , congee is plain while century eggs are very potent it’s the perfect combo in my opinion . Yeah it’s really good especially when it crunch on top . I’m getting hungry now >.<
Sounds great. I tried century eggs before. It was the texture of the yolk Congee I love chicken or beef
chocolate and ice cream. Desserts in general. Sometimes I like hearty foods as well, something to munch and munch to your heart's content.
McNuggets w/ sweet and sour sauce or the apple pies before they changed the crust. I would always have an apple pie for breakfast before getting dropped off at school.
I've been wondering what's the difference between arroz caldo, lugaw and goto. They're all Filipino rice porridge, right?
Chicken and congee is nice . Once when I was 4 years old my aunt let me season the congee ,let’s just say it didn’t end well >.< . Yeah the texture is pretty weird it’s kinda jelly texture
I don't have a comfort food or a comfort person to make me one. I don't really eat much and sometimes forget that i need to eat.
>.>;; I actually don't really know either. But I think there's a difference in ingredients? Lugaw I think is the general term? Anyway, in our house we call it arroz caldo
