In Chinese novels there's that cliche character, who's the main character and she's usually dumb and mostly relies on some sort of iceblock male lead or such to solve her problems. If I'm not wrong, the cliché is called "white lotus" I wanted to read a novel where this kind of character suddenly grows and becomes an independent badass. No romance, if possible.
