    to survive duh~
    it most basic instinct of living creature~ mental breakdown is different stuff~
    sure the story can explore idea how people loss hope or blablabla so thet just die via science fic approach, psychology, drama or other but imo that will harder to write to make interesting rather than basic idea survive for the heck of it~

    The majority of people who survive suicide attempts regret their actions.

    It's just a matter of probability. Even if around 10 to 20 percent of the world's population is depressed as fuck, the people who actually take their own lives are only 0.01% of that figure.

    I want to survive simply because I'm curious how things will turn out from then on. Not trying to survive would be the boring route.

    I don't see why I would give up on life tbh... I just need to find something that keeps life enjoyable, that's enough to allow me to keep going.
