Japanese don't like doing that though its disrespectful. Same reason they gave for highschool of the dead not being continued
Rest In Peace I guess I’ll go re-read the manga now and appreciate the parts of the story that did get managed to be written
Depends on if he left a lot of notes regarding how the story was to progress. In terms of art it could probably continue since assistants already did a lot of the work as far as I remember, but I kind doubt anyone would want to continue it without knowing how he wanted the plot to progress. It seems he passed away suddenly though so I doubt he had much prepared unless he already had an outline of the whole plot written down since much earlier.
....................................... He's definitely not old....................... But not young either..............
not the artist but the author died, the artist didnt want to continue without him, think he had a dig at western audience for expecting the manga to continue after the authors death saying japanese respect the creators more or something like that
Kentaro Miura died on May 6 as a result of acute aortic dissection. He was 54 years old. Beserk was still ongoing with 363 chapters released.
I was maybe 17 the first time I lost one of my favorite authors. I'm still sad about it. I wonder if he left enough notes behind for somebody to at least give us a novel ending sometime down the line...
oh... yeah, if the author died, and he didn't write the continuation, the story after that would just feel wrong even if they did do it. I never knew that was the reason it suddenly stopped... Thanks
Honestly, forget drawing it, I will be happy if they even give us a rough outline or tell us about how he wanted to end it. P.S rest in peace
