Just a little spoiler from the wiki and some reviews I saw a while back (note: may not be completely accurate since it's been months) Spoiler Actually, it turns out, MC is the clone and Victor is the doctor/researcher. Her 'husband' isn't her husband either. It's all just a fabricated story/memory implanted in her to test her reaction(?) The husband and the mistress are in fact the real married couple and according to a review the two of them are very in love and loyal to each other.
Woahhh now that's really interesting. This spoiler actually reminded me of the movie Hal. Although this one's more of a jaw dropping twist than the one in Hal's.
Woah what a twist and here i was after seeing the latest raw chapter, cheering after the FL clapped back and showed who's boss at her supposed to be friend for stealing her husband. I agree with you, it does remind me of Hal.
Woah! And here I am hating on the “husband.” The “planted memories/storyline” is so convincing though.

So the ML(assuming the “clone” is the ML) is just pretending to be a clone? FL is so into it (everything, her jobs, her “marriage”, her deceased son) that it impossible to think it’s the other way around. Especially the video that she’s watching her “husband” doing drug and his “affair” at their “house.” So everyone is into the “play” of testing her reaction then? Because the colleague reactions are all so real.
Spoiler I'm pretty sure their entire corporation is in the whole thing. They made such an elaborate ruse just to see if she'll break against her clone nature (the thing they call 'the three rules') kinda like 'Detroit become human' where the androids develop a will of their own and go against their programming I guess. And yes, Victor is the ML. MC is the clone modeled after his dead lover. According to the wiki they'll be the first official(? I think to formally marry) Human-Clone family and they'll even have a child.

ML's lover died in plane crash. He was going crazy so he created a clone resembling his dead lover. MC will be heartbroken and will not accept ML for a while though after some rolling around, they will be together and ML will confess that he loves her as she is, not as a reminiscence of his past lover. It's quite a while from when I skimmed through the novel so I don't remember much. As far I know, there will be even more drama ahead after they are married and their son's story will also ne included. Will read the novel later..
