The story is very interesting and is just getting into the real story developments. The female MC is very smart and quick-witted without being overpowered. Description: (minor spoilers) A poor girl grows up in the slums with her younger brother and male friend. The friend shows talent in magic so she self teaches from books and helps him become skilled enough to go to school and raise his station so that he can pull them out of poverty. He also becomes her first love. Instead he betrays and abandons them, selling the mc into slavery to get rid of her. She is taken to another kingdom where she manages to get the Emperor's attention with her unique ability to erase magic. This is an ability that she gave herself through a painful process that included tatooing her arms and back. She originally did so to help the childhood friend ease the terrible symtoms from using magic. The story develops from there, but that is the basic set-up. There is a hint of feelings with the Emperor, but this is far from a romance novel. The focus so far has been polical drama with the dowager empress who is not the Emperor's actually mother and wants to put her real son on the throne.

I really hope someone will pick this up. Its a great story that already has a following since the first 28 chapters are translated. The story is getting really exciting!
