I don't think Sakurai is awakened. He didn't show feats that surpass Awakened Anna. Noah knew that Makoto was going to synchronize with Ira. It is really suspicious. I think if we manage to know how she was able to predict all of this, it would really help us to unravel the mystery behind Noah's plans and her relationship with Makoto.
I'm more sure that a part of Noah's consciousness also came with Makoto when he came to the past... The highlight of her reminding Makoto to not forget her so he can give the knife to Anna seems ??? for me. Also the fast betrayal of Cain to Makoto's party affirms me that there should be a discreet communication between the 2 Noah when Cain and Makoto met... As far as we can tell it would be the best way of communication than Ira's.
The dagger of Makoto is definitely special. It even allows Noah to give Divinity to people. True, Noah noticed Makoto's identity way too fast. But I remember that Noah can send messages to the past though ? Are there any restrictions about that kind of thing ?
Makoto’s powerup might already be here. Just read the translated chapter earlier and Makoto’s Cold Sleep froze time itself. That was probably the reason why Momo couldn’t melt it. Anyways, for a thousand years and while asleep, he continuously casted a time stopping spell and a difficult water magic spell. I don’t think there’s any way for him to not have some kind of growth because of that. An example would probably when Makoto increased the temperature for Fujiyan. The water spirits seemed to adore him more and like he was a water spirit to them too. And that’s not including the journeys Makoto had after defeating Iblis.
However, that power-up was useless against the power of the legal wife. Even Momo was no match against her.

i wonder how much is Makoto's proficiency in time magic after using it for a thousand years. also Sakurai didn't awaken his [Light Hero] skill after witnessing his squad die one by one when he got trapped inside the black dome? did Althena change the conditions of awakening after she updated the skill?
That wasn’t awakening yet. For a light hero to awaken, they have to experience “intense emotions”. For comparison, Makoto almost died right in front of Anna during their fight against Bifrons and that was Anna after she realized her feelings for Makoto and she still didn’t awakened then. Sakurai didn’t release any Divinity aura and after using a Seraph spell, he was completely tired. Anna on the other hand, after being awakened released the same move as Sakurai and a bunch more light swords and didn’t receive get tired so we know that Sakurai isn’t awakened yet since his skill is stronger than Anna’s.
i mean he's squad that he trains with everyday got wiped out and he didn't even powerup a bit?, is there a condition that it should be somebody that is close to light hero that should die? so Makoto once again have to act as if hes dying so that the LGBT light hero would awaken his power? the condition is to feel intense emotions right?
