Why would it? Luke is just a poor cultivator that meets a master and goes off to vanquish evil. Basically a Xuanhuan.

Would there be a reason to consider Star Wars an isekai? If I recall correctly, there must exist a person who is transported to another world in order for it to be considered an isekai. Note that world, in this case, refers to the universe Star Wars takes place in.

No. Where ever has it been an Isekai? Sure it's another world, another setting, but by no means are we having someone from another universe/setting being transported to Star Wars. Sure in Star Wars there could be some sort of space magic time travel but it's only in rare force nexuses where laws of physics are somewhat bypassed.

Its not someone from a different world universe died or transplanted by diety or some higher up and dumped into a new world. Even if many planets, and many galaxies, most of the story plot is primarily still existing in one giant story world and the characters are not from a different world but the same world. The world within is enormous and has many places, but still same world. So no, don't think its an isekai.

Now, if nightmare academy by dean lorey that would be something interesting thu it based same universe, but go back from dream world and real world a lot. Enjoyed reading it and nice book covers when in hs.

You didn't even provide an explanation for why it could reasonably be considered an Isekai so I'm going to have to say it's not.

No, because isekai aren't about being teleported onto another planet, they are about going to a different world. In Star Wars they might travel to other planets, but they never leave the Star Wars verse. It is no different than taking a plane to another state, or country, just on a much larger scale.

An isekai is like being sucked inside a book, you leave your old world and life behind, and enter a world with a completely different set of rules. Now if it was a story about someone from modern earth going to the Star Wars verse, that would be an isekai.

To qualify anything being an isekai, there should be any process that can be counted as isekai'd.

And by our unspoken standard, isekai'd means to be transported by a summon, or reincarnated, into another world, even if the technology advancement, lifestyle, or even all the creatures of both the previous and the other world are the same.

So nope, Star War and Star Trek is not an isekai.

If you really want a Western sci-fi isekai, if you consider “The Timeless Child” to be canon and retroactive proof, I suppose you could make an argument that Doctor Who is an isekai. But... I’m not sure how many people would agree with you.

Should the Force count as magical ability because the mechanic about it is not explained enough.

i didnt watch all movies, but i knew that enekyn became darth vader, and the later created movies i found better than the first with lucas. I thought the movies with enekyn were rly great. and back to isekais, i dont think this counts as isekai, the thing that came closest was just enekyn changing to the dark side
