I believe it’s Niveah Thierry Joachim. At least, that’s how the MTL of the novel translates her name. His point of view of the wedding might not be necessary because this character sticks around even until volume 5. He’s in the northern country all along with the new emperor and empress and of course he’s basically acting like Sovieshu 2.0 (Remarried Empress) except that he’s not as excessive. He’s there for the mine management but he’s nevertheless there. He regrets treating MC bad but it’s too late now. I totally wished that MC wouldn’t have wasted another second of her precious life on him but of course fictional heroines are never allowed to completely cut off those who hurt them terribly. They have to maintain some kind of saintly behavior.
I won't put this story in "revenge" categories. MC didn't want to get a revenge against everyone who hurt her. She even said herself she does have this kind of thought before but not anymore. She wants to be free, have a better life and the emperor was a chance for her to escape, that why she left here instead of any other days. She searches a solution and break up with Valor with a back-up plan in mind. If not the emperor, she would be stuck in a delicate place as a laughingstock of the nobility. After that it's Valor who just can't let her go, not because he likes her but because of his own guilt. He wants her to come back because he feels guilty about her and think he would feel better if she stays with him. That the seed, after that he will become obsess with her and going to rampage if I read spoiler correctly. ^^
Spoiler Perhaps somebody else can give a more precise spoiler but he definitely ends up in trouble. Arendt had him locked up in jail for corruption involving the mine that was given as the mc’s dowry to Thierry and for some kind of questionable relationships with nobles in his country. I don’t know if he was executed but even if he was extradited back to his home country, it’s certain that he didn’t end up well. Edit: the marquis Solen was imprisoned for embezzlement of certain revenue for the mine and also charged with allegedly kidnapping aristocrats. Betrand, king of Thierry, implored Arendt not to execute him but give him life imprisonment. The man still hates mc though. I’m not sure if before the end his sentiment changed even a tiny bit but the last I checked, he still doesn’t like her as he sees her as his mistake. Arendt personally beat him up although I didn’t agree with his actions.

Don’t worry. They do get along. The little girl will stay in the northern kingdom for the duration of the novel story. She hangs out with the siblings of Arendt’s assistant/knight. The father came to the kingdom looking for her and accusing Niveah for kidnapping her. In any case, it’s kind of hilarious how the father eventually ends up in jail and after the other nobles in his home kingdom hears about his fall, they turn their backs on him and his cherished reputation is ruined. The little girl insists that she wants to inherit the marquis title so she probably did in the future.

A revenge story is when the protagonist wants a revenge against someone or something. Here, the protagonist doesn't want it, only the antagonist. So since revenge isn't the protagonist objective it's not a revenge story for me.
revenge stories doesn't entirely revolved on the plot as, the feelings of the reader, when the feeling of the reader is satisfied that the former person is suffering from whatever reason, then it is a form of revenge, because it is mostly self insert, that's why I can fully say that the FMC is a mary sue
I teared up too when I read that. And how dare Valor has the face to interrupt Nivea's happiness? Isn't he suppose to repent after all the "I realise I neglected her, I did her wrong, I'm a jerk" kind of drama? I know it's a novel, but damn, Valor irks me soooooo much.
No, Valor mind is more : I realise I neglected her. I did her wrong. I feel bad now. How can I feel better ? I know, if I restore the wrong I did I will feel better, but she is gone now. In the future, my guess is : How can she do that to me? How I am suppose to work with this weight in my heart ? I know, I will break her new life, then she will return to me cause she will not have the choice, then I restore the wrong I did and I will feel better.
I have a dislike f ignorant characters who thinks the world is all pink. Ruby is like that. Thankfully, she's still a child so I don't mind her ignorance. But I wanna know. She entered the carriage that was going to ML's home country without telling her father anything and now FL found her in ch 36 of Manga. Is this gonna cause trouble for them? I hope FL doesn't have to be around Ruby. (from the chapters I read, Neveah doesn't like being in her company and I really want Neveah to feel free) I agree. Truth be told soviechu was annoying due to his stupidity that caused him to lose his wife whom he truly loved. If he had talked and trusted his empress, they could have solved in well and lived happily. In comparison, valor is trash for sure. Valor is all about his ego and pride being affected. He is just obsessed with owning Neveah. I don't see his actions as love. In my opinion, if u love someone even if u can't move on yourself, you would at least not try to break their marriage. Even if u can't honestly wish for their happiness because u r heartbroken, at least avoid them. But, no the bastard want to break the couple up just so he can prove to her that she needs him. Neveah is not a toy to be possessed and controlled.
