I just read the first five chapters. Srry for my bad english. Spoiler: 1-5 The FL has lived three lives in all. 1.-His life in Korea 2.-Her life as a reincarnated person who dies at the hands of Emil. 3.- Current life When FL dies he sees the original story go through his eyes, how his mother sympathizes with the villain, and the end of Rovelina (Emil's mother) Her Korean life was very difficult, she died being hit by a truck and she did not regret her death much. When she was reborn she realized that she was the daughter of the protagonists, at age 14 she confessed to her mother that she remembers her past life, and her mother confessed that she is a time-traveler. When she met Emil, they were childhood friends but he gradually moved away from her, until he disappeared, and when he returned, it was to kill his family and FL saying that he would rather kill her than make her his puppet Emil developed his mother's hereditary insanity, killing everyone in the FL family, the day after the delayed FL wedding. When the FL returns he is 9 years old, and he meets Emil for the first time at his 10-year banquet. Emil as a child always yearns for love but thanks to the rumors of being the son of the villain, they consider him a cursed person. Somehow I feel that Emil's father, Duke Calliste, is the one who helped make the madness happen to Emil, he is quite a suspicious character. For now, FL's plan is for Emil to trust her completely, since in his second life Emil sometimes ran away from her and did not tell her where he was going, until he completely disappeared. In Chapter 5, Duke Calliste tells Emil to win the favor of the FL. Emil wants to be close to her, but he knows that his father's intentions are not good, here he begins to think about whether to tell her or not to tell her. The FL is visiting the duchy and wants to get Emil out of his house.
Hungry for spoilers on this one! I made it to chapter 10, and so far, it’s been a smooth ride, though I wish the novel had more details. So far it’s been pretty vague with events, scenes that I feel like could’ve made bigger impact had it have the right amount of details… it would've definitely been more emotional and dramatic, but so far, it’s been pretty bland… like they’re just trying to get through the story in a rush but I’m still being optimistic here, in the hopes that future chapters will be a bit better.
Spoiler: Velsia's Wedding? In chapter 1 is mentioned that it was the night before the wedding. Which was postponed because Velsia was searching through the city for Emil. Later in chapter 9, we got the following information Rastine Lucretius, second son of the Duke Lucretius, was her fiance in her past life. I also think that, somehow, Emil was aware that Velsia's mother was a regressor and tried to restart their life. And the Duke Callxst behavior is very mysterious too. It's mentioned in the chapters that he was excited to Princess Robellin's pregnancy, even though their marriage was one of convenience.
