If only Iris and ML mother hadn't put the idea of concubines in MC's head. He might be taking his time but at least it seemed like Endimion had a reasonable plan to shorten the distance between them after the coming-of-age party. Now he's coming up with elaborate plans because he feels like he's running against a ticking clock.

I think you’re viewing it from the viewpoint of modern societal values. Back then concubines were very necessary should the wife not be able to bare children, gotta keep the line of succession. So, while yeah unless the wife herself brings it up it is a messed up suggestion now, but keep in mind it’s written in a certain time period, meaning values and viewpoints we have now don’t apply. If you think just why not divorce, political marriages were not out of love, it was exactly that, political. That means thousands of people’s lives are swayed by the mere notion of one prince marrying a foreign princess. And unfortunately back then all problems with the children aspect of a marriage were entirely put on the wife. So if the couple is viewed to not have any children it’s assumed the wife is infertile which is an issue. Tldr don’t look at it from our current perspective but from that time period.
I have 2 question : 1. Will there be any evil character who will try to separate MC and ML here?? 2. Will this novel have a light plot where the conflicts is just around ML and MC relationship or will this novel involve some heavy stuff like politics, war, economy, deprivation of throne, demon fighting stuff?? These fan translations are illegal according to the law because the translators do not own the original work, so they have no right to distribute it without the consent of the author (which they do not have). Basically it's kind of like how it would be illegal for me to translate and distribute Harry Potter in French because I do not have to rights to the series, JK Rowling does. The reason this translation was probably taken down was because maybe the author wants to translate their work into English and profit from that and they don't want fan translations to be available for free on the Internet.
