I'm surprised sielyn didn't really mind the impromptu "fanfiction" he found when reading jenny's diary lmao. Or that she didn't switch to another notebook to write stuff down in code.

Kinda wonder what's up w that novel jenny read... Was it a "sequel" to the original SiebelxLara book where the next gen had the same names but different parents? Why was Jerome "free" (as in, if he was with lilly, he didn't mind cheating on her with sielyn, or he wasn't into her in the first place) enough for sielyn to pursue?

But i guess if that's the end, we'll never find out lol.

Siebel shook his head as he was reminiscing something while he was tutoring his son Sielyn. His eldest daughter Maribel had went to their aunt Lara's place once again. Lara and Sear had a son the daughter's age and a daughter Sielyn's age. It seemed like Lara will get her wish to be in laws seeing as Maribel loves Ray. Lara also tried to make it double with her youngest daughter but unfortunately, her youngest daughter loves Emily and Oliver's son.

Siebel asks Ray if he likes anyone. Siebel had no intention to intervene with his son's life but he worries for Sielyn who is very much like him, looks good on the outside but twisted on the inside. It was puzzling since Marilyn taught him well. Sielyn doesn't understand why people are so absorbed in romance. Siebel couldn't answer him since he was like that before. All he said was he might find out when he attends the academy with his sister.

He told his son to wash and get ready for breakfast as he then walked into the bedroom where Marilyn is lying in bed and still sleeping. He withdrew his hand as he worried she might wake up and just watched her. Her appearance was so lovely that he just wanted to watch her. He carefully swept her hair behind her ear and whispered in her eat to wake up now. Marilyn slowly opened her eyes and called his name as she opened her arms wide. He reached out and embraced her. Today was the beginning of another happy day.

Marilyn sighed as she commented how only Sielyn is alone. Her son Sielyn can vaguely guessed why. Maribel is doing well with Ray and Lily (Lara and Sear's daughter) is doing well with Jerome (Emily and Oliver's only child). The three families all got along as all the children are within the same age, three in the same year and two in the following year.

Marilyn asked her son if he likes being alone and he answered yes. Marilyn asked why and he responded it's nice and quiet when he's alone. She asked if he doesn't like being together with his sibling and friends and he said they're annoying and noisy. Marilyn doesn't deny they're noisy though. Marilyn asked if he is fine going to the academy alone without his parents to which he responded he's not a child. He wonder if it's strange that he likes being alone. Marilyn told him it's not but she wants him to know the joy of being with someone. Sielyn doesn't think such a day would come though.

Sielyn was sure when he was still in his mother's womb, she had assumed she'll have a daughter but it was born a son. And that Sielyn is on the train to Cloud Academy. Currently he's trying to read a book but couldn't as there are four noisy characters with him. Maribel and Ray who kept flirting and Jerome who likes to eat like his mother Emily. Maribel and Jerome started to fight as she questioned if he got fat to which he tells her she's the one getting fat as she cried when she couldn't fit the dress she wore last year. Ray started to defend Maribel and tells his young sister Lily to not hang out with Jerome. Jerome confidently says Lily likes him more making Lily bashful as Ray then tells him to get his hands off his sister. In the end, Sielyn tells them all to quiet down as he slams his book shut. It was then Ray and Jerome start to fight once again. Usually he'll call his mother and Aunt Emily to stop them but instead of doing so they would just reminisce their old days. He wondered if there's anyone normal in this group. No one fits him who is quiet and enjoyed thinking. His mother wanted him to know the joy of being with someone but he who grew up with such a noisy crowd from a young age just wanted to be alone. He should be able to be alone in the academy.

But after 5 months, he realized how wrong he was. He was too popular and he started to even wear a fake smile unknowingly. He finally told them he find them annoying as he couldn't hold it in anymore. Sielyn wrote a letter to Aunt Lara on behalf of his parents who had left on a trip and her response was to blame the flood of that Siebel guy. Someone suggest he can find a hideout. The school was huge and spacious so if he look carefully, he should be able to find a spot for himself. It was then he remembered his mother had wrote down various hidden places in the academy.

Sielyn pulled out the paper and there were various gardens, secret pathways to the kitchen, ways to go over the dormitory wall, there were various ways to get out from punishments and the one thing that caught his attention was the clock tower. He was able to find it without much difficulty. It was calm and quiet and thanks to that he can now enjoy reading alone. However, that didn't last long as he then one day heard footsteps.

Jenny, a female student that he recalled Lily hanging out with appeared. He doesn't think Jenny came here to pursue him since she's normally not the type of girl to bother him. He asked her how she found this place while he smiled to get a favorable response but her reaction wasn't good. In fact she seemed uncomfortable as she said it's by accident. She even told him she had hope he wasn't there. With the strong rejection, he decided to react flexibly and stepped back.

Lily who called out to him one day was with Jenny. Sielyn and Jenny's eyes met accidentally and she then escaped urgently. He asked Lily what her friend was trying to do, but he wasn't able to ask properly as he didn't know much about her. Now he's curious.

Jenny Vinne lost her memory at a very young age when she got hit by a carriage and after that her personality change. Other then that she likes sweets, hates bitter food and have good friends. Sielyn couldn't find much helpful info on her. He decided to give up thinking about her but then he ran into her again when Maribel introduced her friend Jenny to her brother Siel. Sielyn had already caught her trying to hide from him. She would act normal and laugh with Maribel but around him it would turn awkward. Sielyn began to feel twisted inside.

Siebel said it's because he resembles him and Marilyn agrees, in both appearance and personality. Siebel reassured her that once their son finds someone his personality will get better, but then Marilyn worries more for someone else after all Siebel is one to harass the person he loves. Marilyn thinks Sielyn might be better in terms of personality compare to his father. Maybe.

When he got there he accidentally found a notebook on the window. Since only him and Jenny knew about this hideout, that meant the notebook was from Jenny. He read it. It was a diary entry of someone who got transmigrated into a BL novel. What is BL? Sielyn doesn't understand. He continued to read it. She wrote of the argument between Ray and Sielyn and then continued to say Sielyn was a crazy guy who forced a kiss on Jerome. Sielyn unwittingly started cursing. Jenny wrote in such a BL novel, she's pretending to be a supporter of Jerome and Sielyn.

Someone then came and Jenny's face turned blue as she screamed out why he's reading her diary. She tried to grab it from him but he was faster. He laughed as he tells he not to lie. He can see her swallow her saliva in nervousness as he find that reaction a bit cute. Sielyn asks her isn't this a novel since he know there are people who like romance novels between men. He had heard about it from Aunt Violet before. He told her not to worry since he can respect her taste. But then he threatened her that if people finds out about this... She asks him what he wished for. He told her not to avoid him. She asked is that all. He continued to say to spend 2 hrs each day with him at this hideout.

He wasn't sure why he made such request and it's true he still likes to be alone, but he have no intention to overturn his decision. She asks if that's really fine and he says yes.

One day she woke up to enter the body of an orphan supporting character in a BL novel. Jerome was the main character. The original Jenny was a smart character so she wasn't able to avoid getting accepted into the academy. When she got into the academy she even got close to Lily and Maribel.

But that wasn't all as her diary got stolen by Sielyn, the other main character. He even thought it was a novel and somehow he thinks Jenny writes BL. But this bad natured boy likes to tease her as he reads her diary out loud whenever he has time. Whenever Jenny remembers something from the original novel, she'll write it down and eventually Sielyn thinks she's a BL writer with a lot of tastes. He saw her write his name as 'Siel' and asks if that's a nickname she made up for him. It was a nickname coined by the real writer but now he thinks she's the writer. Jenny didn't respond but he laughed meaningfully and told her to call him by that. But Jerome should be the one to call him that. Why is he telling her to call him that? She's wondering if he's upset she took Jerome's name to write about him but since she felt so intimidated by him she reluctantly called his nickname.

All sorts of curses were said inside her head as Siel stared at her. Siel didn't know he have this sort of sadism in him but it's fun teasing her. He told her he will allow her to call him by the nickname she gave him. When she called him again he find he really cute and even laughed a bit. Now he knows the joy of being with someone. And new memories are formed inside the clock tower.

It's been 5 years since they've married and they're still as loving as ever. Marilyn went out to meet her friends one day. They comment how Siebel always picks her up early personally. Marilyn doesn't think think he has separation anxiety, well she's probably trying to deny it since he might have it. He certainly loves skinship and she start to wonder what he does waiting at home. It felt like he's just waiting for her while doing paperwork and working. Marilyn felt guilty.

Sitting at the rocking chair by the window she was stroking his hair while he was rubbing his face against her knees. Sometimes like a cat, sometimes a dog... more like a dog. Either way she finds him really cute, lovely and handsome that should couldn't help but kiss him. Siebel raised his head to wait for her approaching kiss. But then she stopped herself as she remembered what her friends told her. She was supposed to refrain skinship with him. Siebel called out her name. She jumped up as she started making excuses that she have to wash up and sleep. He caught her wrist and smirk as he told her even if she has to go, she should finish what she was going to do. He sat her back on the chair and bent his back. His face getting closer to her. She really wanted to kiss him but she can't. His movement stopped and he opened his eyes shocked.

Marilyn started t make excuses that she's really tire today and her breath smells. Siebel apologized thinking she hates it. She had never rejected him before so she thought he would be offended but he wasn't. He just apologized and soothed her. They went to bed. She then realized she can't do this either. If she goes to bed with him, they'll end up hugging and sleeping together. Siebel said he'll retire as he is now but Marilyn doesn't trust herself. She already barely endured the kiss. So she called out to Siebel who was about to go down to the kitchen and told him they should use separate rooms. Siebel silently closed his lips and then smiled and asked why. She started making excuses that she need time to think and read books and work. She thought the plan she made with Natalie and Violet would be ruined but Siebel agreed even though he told her he can't wait long. Marilyn told him it'll just be a month and he nodded his head.

She really thought it'll go smoothly.

So what really happened was Siebel's birthday is coming up in a month. Marilyn wasn't sure what to do for his birthday. The problem is Siebel is rich, too rich so there's nothing he wants and nothing he won't be able to attain. Violet suggested making him sad for the time being so by giving him a birthday event afterward, it'll make him happier. She told Marilyn to break the familiarity. She always accept his obsession even when he picks her up everyday and confessing to each other everyday, birthday only lasts once a year so it have to be eye catching. So to make him sad, avoid skinship. Marilyn don't want to hurt him but Natalie think they're being too loving that it might burn out and get boring later. Marilyn then start to worry. Violet talk about how she had interviewed couples who are bored for her novel ideas. Marilyn wasn't sure since it's been a long time they've known each other and they're still doing well but maybe this is around the time couples get bored. It'll be too late by then so she got persuaded by her friends' words.

Siebel called her name as she was thinking of something else during their meal. She couldn't focus as she was thinking about what her friends said. She can't say much to him as he might even start to feed her. Siebel asked her id there was anything he doesn't know about and she denied it. She reasoned in her head, it's all for him so it's okay. Marilyn told him she'll have to go out for a while today to see Lara. He asked if she's going to be late and she said she'll be back soon and told him not to pick her up. She felt guilty from his gaze but she reassured him it'll be early. He reminded her again not to make him wait too long as he can't live without her. But Marilyn thinks it's the same for her as well.

In actuality, she didn't go meet Lara and went to see the gardener. Marilyn was building a new garden with the help of the young gardener. She was going to present Siebel the new garden. It's a new flower that blooms more at night and even glows. The flower even grows fast as it'll only take 5 days. She wanted the gardener to plant it writing out a message so that it can be seen from the window.

Shortly after she returned home one day, the gardener left a message to tell her the flowers have finally bloomed and complimented her that she knows how to choose the flowers well as really resembles that person. Marilyn knows the staff of the mansion knows of Siebel's beauty so it was likely they'll agree. Normally Siebel would be suspicious if she goes out late, but since she have been using a separate room, she can sneak out. She was able to see the flowers glow. The gardener commented she really loves the duke. He asked her how much she loves him when she mentioned of course and she said as much as the sky, earth and universe. The gardener is envious of her as he also wish for such a love. Marilyn told him she'll help him find someone if this goes well. She promised to help set him up for a blind date.

As she sneak back home that night, she saw a dark silhouette on the bed of her room. It scared her but then she realized it was Siebel. She got confused if he went to the wrong bedroom since she had asked for separate bedrooms. She didn't finish speaking when he then grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the bed. She called out his name embarrassingly. Siebel never used such force with her so she got surprised. He asked her if she still needs time to think. She's normally not the type to think too much. He buried his face in her shoulder and then lifted his head. She can see the moonlight lit his hair like the flowers she saw today. He grasped her chin gently and got closer to her face. Marilyn was tempted to just kiss for one day but then fought with herself to stop. He stopped But then he felt his hands that were on her shoulder had fell off. When she opened her eyes she saw him covering his eyes with both hands. Marilyn asked him if he's crying and he said he's not. It really seemed like he wasn't but his voice was trembling. He started to apologize to her that he wasn't trying to force her. He then pull her to hug her. Marilyn again couldn't finish talking. it had become serious and she wasn't sure what to do. She's calling her Natalie and Violet for help in her head.

In the end she went to see Lara. On the other hand Lara was pleased with it telling Marilyn good job... well she hates Siebel. She haven't told Natalie and Violet yet but Siebel's birthday is the next day. She told the butler to let Siebel know she'll be away. When he comes to the villa, she can finally show him the surprise. She just have to endure for one more day. Siebel will understand her and he might even be impressed with the gift. She just have to be a bit more patient.

There wasn't much time left now. She asked Siebel if they could sleep together again. He was surprised to see her sitting in the bedroom. She told him he looked tire so she'll help put him to sleep. Siebel lay obediently on the bed and she patted his chest as she sang him a lullaby. It was his first time hearing one. He called her name and told her he loves her. Marilyn was pleased he was able to express himself affectionately with words but she didn't respond directly to it. He then continue to tell her she can't abandon him. She laughed awkwardly and told him to go to sleep. Once he fell asleep, she was determined to give him the answer to his confession at the party.

She put on a cloak and packed a bag where she put the gift for him and secretly snuck out. She called a carriage instead of using the duke's carriage in case it makes too much noise. At the villa, the party was set up. She thanked the gardener. As she stepped out of the maze garden she got surprised since only the gardener or her were there, but someone else was approaching her. It was a black silhouette. Marilyn got scared and started trying to run away when she got caught by the shoulder. She was trying to hit him on the face when he held her hands and told her she can't go. She immediately recognized the voice and asked Siebel why he was there. He started questioning her if she's trying to run away from a monster like him, if she was finding it unexpected. He once again told her she can't go. His eyes were in anger and he looked as though he had went insane but she didn't find it scary since he was crying.

He told her that as long as she came back she was trying to pretend he didn't know. He promised her he would do better as long as she doesn't throw him away. Marilyn tried to talk to him. She was confused. She started to wonder what the butler said. Why did Siebel think she's running way and abandoning him? Siebel then started to tell her if she wished to save the gardener she will have to send him away and how he wanted to kill the gardener but he will be patient. He won't say anything about it as long as she comes back. Or she can kill him. Marilyn tried to talk in between his words wondering why she would kill him and become a widow. She started to yell out she didn't cheat on him. he then stopped crying. He thought she's trying to lie to him and she asked if he's really trying to die. he said he'll die without her and she confirmed again she didn't cheat. She grabbed his cheeks and asked him what made him think that. He started to tell her she avoided him and about her meetings with the gardener and the letter. Marilyn got embarrassed wondering to herself was it that suspicious.

The first seeds of doubt was when she first rejected him. He had thought he might be a little crazy but he couldn't understand why she wanted a separate room. He tried to be a better person as he had promised her so he tried to push the doubts away from his mind with all his might, but even at meals her minds scattered. Anxiety began to grew. She said she'll meet Lara but lied. Siebel knows Marilyn as much as she knows him and she's a bad liar. He had endured it until he saw the letter. Then he recalled the gardener was quite young and handsome and Marilyn hired him. Siebel doesn't want anyone else to be attracted to her. He doesn't want to gardener to find out about her beauty. Even so, he can't lock her up or capture her, so the only solution for him is to kill the gardener. But then he also heard what he thought was a confession when Marilyn claimed to love as much as the sky, earth and universe. In the end he broke her promise and stalked her.

When the butler told him that she had ran away after she had put him to sleep, he told the butler to move and rode the horse to chase after her. He should let go but he really can't. He doesn't have the confidence to live alone again.

Marilyn then tell him to stop his thoughts. She's getting a headache from how deep the misunderstandings have gotten. So she finally properly explained to him. She told him that couple as hot as them get bored later and also it's his birthday so she was preparing for it. He didn't believe her. Then she explained that the confession the gardener said was towards him because the staffs love their master. and also she snuck out to meet him because he's planting flowers that resembles Siebel. She can see the dark spots on his skin. Marilyn blamed herself for going through with this event. She knew of his condition and still did it when Siebel's mental state is quite unstable. She was the one to blame. She reassured him he's not a monster, just someone who is a bit sick but that just means he'll need some to take care of him. She grabbed his hand. The event was ruined but they still have the party. They walked hand in hand and reached the villa just as the clock reached midnight.

No more side stories. That last one was a bit frustrating.

He got rejected and never found someone new. He just ended up alone and forever loving her. He didn't want to attend her wedding because she is marrying someone else but he went for the courtesy and gave her lilac flowers to signify his first love for her. In the end he just focused on his job since he never ended up with anyone and Marilyn doesn't see him as much anymore afterwards.

It's cause Lycan isn't so nice. Marilyn didn't like him from the moment she transmigrated. He was someone who always favored his sister one sided and think Marilyn should be someone who had to deal with the bullying and insults from other people. He thinks a friend of his sister should have to deal with all that. He only started to realize how wrong he was after Marilyn doesn't love him anymore, because the Marilyn who loved him was the original Marilyn so after the transmigration, she doesn't love him knowing the original novel. So to say it's disappointing because she didn't end up with him is a bit different in this case since Marilyn originally loved Lycan in the original novel but Lycan treated her badly. Lycan did end up apologizing for it, but Marilyn isn't too happy about it since she thinks the one he should really apologize to is the original Marilyn and Lycan will never feel sorry to her because he hated her(original Marilyn) so Marilyn never forgave him for that. Even Marilyn know original Marilyn would've forgiven him easily because original loved him, but she's not original so she told him to deal with his guilt.

Sielyn pulled out the paper and there were various gardens, secret pathways to the kitchen, ways to go over the dormitory wall, there were various ways to get out from punishments and the one thing that caught his attention was the clock tower. He was able to find it without much difficulty. It was calm and quiet and thanks to that he can now enjoy reading alone. However, that didn't last long as he then one day heard footsteps.

Jenny, a female student that he recalled Lily hanging out with appeared. He doesn't think Jenny came here to pursue him since she's normally not the type of girl to bother him. He asked her how she found this place while he smiled to get a favorable response but her reaction wasn't good. In fact she seemed uncomfortable as she said it's by accident. She even told him she had hope he wasn't there. With the strong rejection, he decided to react flexibly and stepped back.

Lily who called out to him one day was with Jenny. Sielyn and Jenny's eyes met accidentally and she then escaped urgently. He asked Lily what her friend was trying to do, but he wasn't able to ask properly as he didn't know much about her. Now he's curious.

Jenny Vinne lost her memory at a very young age when she got hit by a carriage and after that her personality change. Other then that she likes sweets, hates bitter food and have good friends. Sielyn couldn't find much helpful info on her. He decided to give up thinking about her but then he ran into her again when Maribel introduced her friend Jenny to her brother Siel. Sielyn had already caught her trying to hide from him. She would act normal and laugh with Maribel but around him it would turn awkward. Sielyn began to feel twisted inside.

The two parents who went on a trip, Marilyn who worried if something happens to them and Siebel who reassured her that he shoved the role of parents to Lara and Sear. Marilyn laughed at him as she shook her head. Maribel who is like Marilyn she had no worries but she's worried for Siel. Siebel said it's because he resembles him and Marilyn agrees, in both appearance and personality. Siebel reassured her that once their son finds someone his personality will get better, but then Marilyn worries more for someone else after all Siebel is one to harass the person he loves. Marilyn thinks Sielyn might be better in terms of personality compare to his father. Maybe.

The moment she bothers him, his eyes kept trying to catch her and he then wanted to catch her attention while Jenny deliberately tried to avoid his eyes. There really was no chance to get close as even when he approach her to say the teacher calls for her, she would directly state she'll go alone. Sielyn wasn't sure why he felt annoyed with it. He wasn't sure why about a lot of things like why he wants to be close to her. He finally made up his mind to go to the clock tower once again. He had told her before he won't go, even so he went.

When he got there he accidentally found a notebook on the window. Since only him and Jenny knew about this hideout, that meant the notebook was from Jenny. He read it. It was a diary entry of someone who got transmigrated into a BL novel. What is BL? Sielyn doesn't understand. He continued to read it. She wrote of the argument between Ray and Sielyn and then continued to say Sielyn was a crazy guy who forced a kiss on Jerome. Sielyn unwittingly started cursing. Jenny wrote in such a BL novel, she's pretending to be a supporter of Jerome and Sielyn.

Someone then came and Jenny's face turned blue as she screamed out why he's reading her diary. She tried to grab it from him but he was faster. He laughed as he tells he not to lie. He can see her swallow her saliva in nervousness as he find that reaction a bit cute. Sielyn asks her isn't this a novel since he know there are people who like romance novels between men. He had heard about it from Aunt Violet before. He told her not to worry since he can respect her taste. But then he threatened her that if people finds out about this... She asks him what he wished for. He told her not to avoid him. She asked is that all. He continued to say to spend 2 hrs each day with him at this hideout.

He wasn't sure why he made such request and it's true he still likes to be alone, but he have no intention to overturn his decision. She asks if that's really fine and he says yes.

One day she woke up to enter the body of an orphan supporting character in a BL novel. Jerome was the main character. The original Jenny was a smart character so she wasn't able to avoid getting accepted into the academy. When she got into the academy she even got close to Lily and Maribel.

But that wasn't all as her diary got stolen by Sielyn, the other main character. He even thought it was a novel and somehow he thinks Jenny writes BL. But this bad natured boy likes to tease her as he reads her diary out loud whenever he has time. Whenever Jenny remembers something from the original novel, she'll write it down and eventually Sielyn thinks she's a BL writer with a lot of tastes. He saw her write his name as 'Siel' and asks if that's a nickname she made up for him. It was a nickname coined by the real writer but now he thinks she's the writer. Jenny didn't respond but he laughed meaningfully and told her to call him by that. But Jerome should be the one to call him that. Why is he telling her to call him that? She's wondering if he's upset she took Jerome's name to write about him but since she felt so intimidated by him she reluctantly called his nickname.

All sorts of curses were said inside her head as Siel stared at her. Siel didn't know he have this sort of sadism in him but it's fun teasing her. He told her he will allow her to call him by the nickname she gave him. When she called him again he find he really cute and even laughed a bit. Now he knows the joy of being with someone. And new memories are formed inside the clock tower.

It's been 5 years since they've married and they're still as loving as ever. Marilyn went out to meet her friends one day. They comment how Siebel always picks her up early personally. Marilyn doesn't think think he has separation anxiety, well she's probably trying to deny it since he might have it. He certainly loves skinship and she start to wonder what he does waiting at home. It felt like he's just waiting for her while doing paperwork and working. Marilyn felt guilty.

Sitting at the rocking chair by the window she was stroking his hair while he was rubbing his face against her knees. Sometimes like a cat, sometimes a dog... more like a dog. Either way she finds him really cute, lovely and handsome that should couldn't help but kiss him. Siebel raised his head to wait for her approaching kiss. But then she stopped herself as she remembered what her friends told her. She was supposed to refrain skinship with him. Siebel called out her name. She jumped up as she started making excuses that she have to wash up and sleep. He caught her wrist and smirk as he told her even if she has to go, she should finish what she was going to do. He sat her back on the chair and bent his back. His face getting closer to her. She really wanted to kiss him but she can't. His movement stopped and he opened his eyes shocked.

Marilyn started t make excuses that she's really tire today and her breath smells. Siebel apologized thinking she hates it. She had never rejected him before so she thought he would be offended but he wasn't. He just apologized and soothed her. They went to bed. She then realized she can't do this either. If she goes to bed with him, they'll end up hugging and sleeping together. Siebel said he'll retire as he is now but Marilyn doesn't trust herself. She already barely endured the kiss. So she called out to Siebel who was about to go down to the kitchen and told him they should use separate rooms. Siebel silently closed his lips and then smiled and asked why. She started making excuses that she need time to think and read books and work. She thought the plan she made with Natalie and Violet would be ruined but Siebel agreed even though he told her he can't wait long. Marilyn told him it'll just be a month and he nodded his head.

She really thought it'll go smoothly.

So what really happened was Siebel's birthday is coming up in a month. Marilyn wasn't sure what to do for his birthday. The problem is Siebel is rich, too rich so there's nothing he wants and nothing he won't be able to attain. Violet suggested making him sad for the time being so by giving him a birthday event afterward, it'll make him happier. She told Marilyn to break the familiarity. She always accept his obsession even when he picks her up everyday and confessing to each other everyday, birthday only lasts once a year so it have to be eye catching. So to make him sad, avoid skinship. Marilyn don't want to hurt him but Natalie think they're being too loving that it might burn out and get boring later. Marilyn then start to worry. Violet talk about how she had interviewed couples who are bored for her novel ideas. Marilyn wasn't sure since it's been a long time they've known each other and they're still doing well but maybe this is around the time couples get bored. It'll be too late by then so she got persuaded by her friends' words.

Siebel called her name as she was thinking of something else during their meal. She couldn't focus as she was thinking about what her friends said. She can't say much to him as he might even start to feed her. Siebel asked her id there was anything he doesn't know about and she denied it. She reasoned in her head, it's all for him so it's okay. Marilyn told him she'll have to go out for a while today to see Lara. He asked if she's going to be late and she said she'll be back soon and told him not to pick her up. She felt guilty from his gaze but she reassured him it'll be early. He reminded her again not to make him wait too long as he can't live without her. But Marilyn thinks it's the same for her as well.

In actuality, she didn't go meet Lara and went to see the gardener. Marilyn was building a new garden with the help of the young gardener. She was going to present Siebel the new garden. It's a new flower that blooms more at night and even glows. The flower even grows fast as it'll only take 5 days. She wanted the gardener to plant it writing out a message so that it can be seen from the window.

Shortly after she returned home one day, the gardener left a message to tell her the flowers have finally bloomed and complimented her that she knows how to choose the flowers well as really resembles that person. Marilyn knows the staff of the mansion knows of Siebel's beauty so it was likely they'll agree. Normally Siebel would be suspicious if she goes out late, but since she have been using a separate room, she can sneak out. She was able to see the flowers glow. The gardener commented she really loves the duke. He asked her how much she loves him when she mentioned of course and she said as much as the sky, earth and universe. The gardener is envious of her as he also wish for such a love. Marilyn told him she'll help him find someone if this goes well. She promised to help set him up for a blind date.

As she sneak back home that night, she saw a dark silhouette on the bed of her room. It scared her but then she realized it was Siebel. She got confused if he went to the wrong bedroom since she had asked for separate bedrooms. She didn't finish speaking when he then grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the bed. She called out his name embarrassingly. Siebel never used such force with her so she got surprised. He asked her if she still needs time to think. She's normally not the type to think too much. He buried his face in her shoulder and then lifted his head. She can see the moonlight lit his hair like the flowers she saw today. He grasped her chin gently and got closer to her face. Marilyn was tempted to just kiss for one day but then fought with herself to stop. He stopped But then he felt his hands that were on her shoulder had fell off. When she opened her eyes she saw him covering his eyes with both hands. Marilyn asked him if he's crying and he said he's not. It really seemed like he wasn't but his voice was trembling. He started to apologize to her that he wasn't trying to force her. He then pull her to hug her. Marilyn again couldn't finish talking. it had become serious and she wasn't sure what to do. She's calling her Natalie and Violet for help in her head.

In the end she went to see Lara. On the other hand Lara was pleased with it telling Marilyn good job... well she hates Siebel. She haven't told Natalie and Violet yet but Siebel's birthday is the next day. She told the butler to let Siebel know she'll be away. When he comes to the villa, she can finally show him the surprise. She just have to endure for one more day. Siebel will understand her and he might even be impressed with the gift. She just have to be a bit more patient.

There wasn't much time left now. She asked Siebel if they could sleep together again. He was surprised to see her sitting in the bedroom. She told him he looked tire so she'll help put him to sleep. Siebel lay obediently on the bed and she patted his chest as she sang him a lullaby. It was his first time hearing one. He called her name and told her he loves her. Marilyn was pleased he was able to express himself affectionately with words but she didn't respond directly to it. He then continue to tell her she can't abandon him. She laughed awkwardly and told him to go to sleep. Once he fell asleep, she was determined to give him the answer to his confession at the party.

She put on a cloak and packed a bag where she put the gift for him and secretly snuck out. She called a carriage instead of using the duke's carriage in case it makes too much noise. At the villa, the party was set up. She thanked the gardener. As she stepped out of the maze garden she got surprised since only the gardener or her were there, but someone else was approaching her. It was a black silhouette. Marilyn got scared and started trying to run away when she got caught by the shoulder. She was trying to hit him on the face when he held her hands and told her she can't go. She immediately recognized the voice and asked Siebel why he was there. He started questioning her if she's trying to run away from a monster like him, if she was finding it unexpected. He once again told her she can't go. His eyes were in anger and he looked as though he had went insane but she didn't find it scary since he was crying.

He told her that as long as she came back she was trying to pretend he didn't know. He promised her he would do better as long as she doesn't throw him away. Marilyn tried to talk to him. She was confused. She started to wonder what the butler said. Why did Siebel think she's running way and abandoning him? Siebel then started to tell her if she wished to save the gardener she will have to send him away and how he wanted to kill the gardener but he will be patient. He won't say anything about it as long as she comes back. Or she can kill him. Marilyn tried to talk in between his words wondering why she would kill him and become a widow. She started to yell out she didn't cheat on him. he then stopped crying. He thought she's trying to lie to him and she asked if he's really trying to die. he said he'll die without her and she confirmed again she didn't cheat. She grabbed his cheeks and asked him what made him think that. He started to tell her she avoided him and about her meetings with the gardener and the letter. Marilyn got embarrassed wondering to herself was it that suspicious.

The first seeds of doubt was when she first rejected him. He had thought he might be a little crazy but he couldn't understand why she wanted a separate room. He tried to be a better person as he had promised her so he tried to push the doubts away from his mind with all his might, but even at meals her minds scattered. Anxiety began to grew. She said she'll meet Lara but lied. Siebel knows Marilyn as much as she knows him and she's a bad liar. He had endured it until he saw the letter. Then he recalled the gardener was quite young and handsome and Marilyn hired him. Siebel doesn't want anyone else to be attracted to her. He doesn't want to gardener to find out about her beauty. Even so, he can't lock her up or capture her, so the only solution for him is to kill the gardener. But then he also heard what he thought was a confession when Marilyn claimed to love as much as the sky, earth and universe. In the end he broke her promise and stalked her.

When the butler told him that she had ran away after she had put him to sleep, he told the butler to move and rode the horse to chase after her. He should let go but he really can't. He doesn't have the confidence to live alone again.

Marilyn then tell him to stop his thoughts. She's getting a headache from how deep the misunderstandings have gotten. So she finally properly explained to him. She told him that couple as hot as them get bored later and also it's his birthday so she was preparing for it. He didn't believe her. Then she explained that the confession the gardener said was towards him because the staffs love their master. and also she snuck out to meet him because he's planting flowers that resembles Siebel. She can see the dark spots on his skin. Marilyn blamed herself for going through with this event. She knew of his condition and still did it when Siebel's mental state is quite unstable. She was the one to blame. She reassured him he's not a monster, just someone who is a bit sick but that just means he'll need some to take care of him. She grabbed his hand. The event was ruined but they still have the party. They walked hand in hand and reached the villa just as the clock reached midnight.

No more side stories. That last one was a bit frustrating.

Chapter 83 until end of main story

Because the press can't write articles on the chairman's crime, Marilyn will have to create a big enough noise to garner attention for his crimes, meaning in conclusion she will have to inform a lot of people and increase load work. It's dangerous and difficult to work on her own but it was worth the risk. It was then, she realize she doesn't have to do this alone. She remembered what Lara told her before that she can ask for help and if she asks, her friends will help her.

Thus Marilyn went to try to grab her friends' attention while both Violet and Natalie were in the middle of arguing over stolen uniform. Neither of them paid her any attention. Only Lara is telling Marilyn she's listening. She then yelled at both the others to listen to her. They thought she's trying to fight them. Of course, Marilyn wouldn't want to. They're pretty scary. They only ended the fight after Lara resolved their situation for them and they sat around Marilyn as she told them about the chairman. She brought out her bag and showed the books and papers she have as evidence. Violet asked how she got those, and Marilyn told them she went to work at the chairman's home.

They then, started to listen eagerly, but then Natalie asked Marilyn why she's doing all this to begin with. She decided to release a few info about Siebel, that he's related to the chairman. One of her friends commented the chairman is ugly, but good thing Siebel is a distant relative so he looks handsome, someone else then brought up Sear is his son and is handsome. They think the mother's genes must've worked hard. Natalie and Violet are getting distracted once again. Marilyn tried to catch their attention again. She start to ponder if she should get her friends into trouble with her. Emily then got up from her seat and hold her shoulder. She then told Marilyn that only she would know of such an interesting thing and she had been itching to cause trouble these days. Marilyn then realize of course her friends are the crazy kind. They all asked her for her plan. She told them this plan wouldn't be as fun as they think since they will have to transcribe a few hundred documents. It will be the beginning of long boring repetitive labor.

Her friends started to complain as they are getting back pains, calluses, tired eyes, etc. Marilyn try to cheer them on. They were able to get a lot done since it was 5 of them.

It was the butler, Evan, who first found out the books in the secret room were missing. Also it's been the 2nd day since Marilyn haven't come to work. The chairman asked for Siebel and yelled for the butler to bring him here. He then noticed the bookshelf was empty and asked about the thief. Evan wasn't sure how to answer, but he was ordered to head to the academy immediately.

Violet was telling her friends she did 500 sheets. Her friends complimented her. They're all stacking the paper into a box that's taller than Emily's height, but thanks to her training she was able to easily lift the box. Lara complimented Emily's strength that it's been improving day by day. Marilyn agreed. Someone then ran down the hallway saying the chairman got injured falling off the horse when he rushed to the academy. The 5 of them looked at each other and rush each other up. They all ran to the dorm together.

Apparently no one is able to enter the dorm as they're doing a dorm check at each room. The students complained of invasion of privacy. They decided since they can't stay in the dorms, they'll go to the rooftop instead. The teacher then ask about the box they have with them. Emily panicked since she's not good at lying and she was the one carrying the box. Violet then went and intercepted them saving Emily. She made some excuses they were snacks. Natalie and Lara held in their laughter. The teacher pushed up his classes. Violet continue to say that Emily engulf all the snacks in 3 days and it seemed the teacher believes her. Emily started to glare at her friends for teasing her. As they head upstairs, Marilyn told her she'll pay her back by giving her 10 times the amount of snacks that could fit in that box. Emily claimed she's lying and Marilyn told her she's not since she has her bf Siebel who is overflowing with money.

Her friends went to the rooftop, Marilyn then realized she forgot the bell. She can't let the chairman find it. She told her friends and went to the dorm to go grab it. Luckily it was still in the drawer. She put the bell in her pocket and as she turned around, the chairman showed up and reached out for her. He demanded she hand the bell over to him. The chairman said he admit he wasn't suspicious the bell was stolen since Siebel listens to him, but then he caused him to look like this. This meaning Siebel caused his injury where he fell off the horse. The horses ran to the mountains and dump him at the wolves. Marilyn thought it was unlucky that he survived that but then again Siebel did say he won't kill the chairman so she guessed he tried to cripple him instead. The horse ended up rotting and dying instead. Marilyn wondered if things are going wrong because Siebel is no longer someone who works darkly in the background.

The chairman was upset that the kid he trained is not working out well for him. Marilyn asked why he was so sure Siebel would keep listening when he had been abusing Siebel. The chairman enraged yelled at her to shut up and saying how the 'monster cub' is his. Marilyn then corrected him to say that Siebel is her 'man'. He started yelling at Marilyn that the child is his since he tamed it and it was a finished product he made. In Marilyn's head she started thinking if the chairman was more beautiful, this would've been BL. Then she apologized to Siebel in her head for having weird imagination.

They both started to fight over the bell. She then kick him. She tried to imitate some moves from a webtoon and think she's pretty cool. She kicked him again. She then grabbed him and asked how to get rid of the curse. He laughed at her saying it's not possible since he's a monster who cannot become a human. Marilyn got mad and told the chairman that he's the monster, not Siebel. The chairman told her that the curse cannot be completely resolved but it can be kept under control for a lifetime through true love. But he doesn't think anyone can love him. Marilyn then remember when she kissed Siebel and his skin got better.

The chairman then caught her and Marilyn made a fist with her middle finger sticking out and punched him, but missed and hit his lips. The chairman spit out his bloody tooth and yelled at her. Marilyn find his appearance funny with the missing tooth. She started teasing him for the missing tooth. He told her she should be ruled under corporal punishment. Marilyn wonder what sort of era mindset he has. She clenched up her fist again. She was about to punch him again when he started to feel pain and his skin start to rot. Marilyn noticed what was happening and before she left she told him what Siebel had said to her before how the best revenge is to let him live and suffer. She then walked away.

They need to inform the student body of the chairman's actions, but all the students are trapped in the dorm. So she decided to yell out fire to get the students to run out. Then she realized something. She can smell fire. Natalie then grab Marilyn to show her they had started a fire at the back of the building. Marilyn was proud of her friends. They all have same brain waves. Emily also grabbed one of the knight trainees to spread fire rumor at the boys' dorm as well. They were going to head to the main building but Marilyn told Natalie, she can't go with them. She told them she will meet them later. She need to check on Siebel's condition.

She was able to easily enter the boys' dorm. She started calling out for 'Prince Siebel' telling him she came to save him. His face and body is fine but his hands were dark. He told her she must've heard everything from the chairman about his plans. She admit to hearing it but he didn't have to help her. Marilyn asked did he get embarrassed from the failed plan and went to hide. Siebel showed his hand out saying it's ugly. She asked him what is ugly and he said everything. Marilyn told him it's not ugly and he shook his head at her. He was upset how he thought everything was perfect but then his plan wasn't enough and he brought the chairman's suspicion and that put her into danger. Not only that, his curse start to act up again. Marilyn told her she's glad she's married and not going to be a widow. She can live with her husband for a long time. He told her he will probably die soon and she denied it. He looked at her annoyed and tell her it's not the time to dream positively. She then kissed him and he got shocked. She had kissed his hand and the black spots disappeared. Marilyn then asked him what he think she had been doing while he's making plans on the side. She then pulled his hand to show him.

They went to the main building where all the students had evacuated from the 'fire'. Siebel asked her what she's trying to show him. She then pointed at the rooftop and there stood her friends. They waved back at her and called out her name while telling her they'll start dumping them first. She nodded to them and her friends start to scatter the papers everywhere. Students start to pick up the paper and read them. Marilyn told Siebel that her friends had been helping her all night. She then told him it's better to be with someone than to do things alone. Siebel's eyes widened and then she told him in the future he can do anything he wants with her, whether it be for revenge or love.

A long time passed since then. The chairman was excommunicated from education. After going through many legal procedures, investigations were made and he was convicted without bail. A certain portion of his property was also confiscated. Fortunately with the fortune that did remain, Sear would be able to live without any problems.

The atmosphere at school wasn't that good because of all this but it was nearing vacation. They'll be 3rd years and graduating soon. Marilyn and her friends promised to write each other letters. Sear finally returning back to school. He had left after the chairman news broke out. Marilyn wondered if Sear would blame her.

Sear called her from behind and she was surprised. He admit to Marilyn he felt better that his father got caught. He haven't fully return back to the academy yet. He plan to use the vacation to take care of his mental issues. He told her she was amazing though since he had wondered if she would even be able to resolve the issue when he hired her as servant. So he complimented Marilyn. She told him, she's not that great and she had friends to help her. Marilyn asked him if he resents her for putting his father in prison. Sear told her he doesn't have a father so he wouldn't resent her for that. But he has a question for her. He told her while he was away from school, he read some of the books from his father's library and then told her he recalled some events from his childhood.

His father used to enjoy experimenting on things. He also did it with him and his mother before. He used the same method with the bell to instill fear on them but he never hit them. Even so, his mother never liked his father. Even after his mother passed away, he would continue to use the bell against him, but then when Siebel came, he stopped. He asked Marilyn if he did that to Siebel. She told him it was something he will have to ask Siebel himself.

Sear reminded her he hates Siebel and he still hates Siebel a lot. He has no intention to apologize to Siebel since he does not plan to live trying to repent for the sins his father committed. But he has a bit of conscience because he likes her. She was shock from the random confession that didn't fit the atmosphere. He told her he's closing it though so he 'liked' her and he admit he was angry she liked someone who wasn't him and also admitted he did try to win her heart when he brought her to see the play. Marilyn told him she won't do it again after knowing this. He told her he still wanted to say he liked her. She told him she liked him as a friend and he said it doesn't sound comforting but thank her regardless. Then he laughed and said he probably came to like her more after seeing her like Siebel because he wanted that pure affection she gives Siebel. He was telling her neither his father nor mother love him so he doesn't have love. Marilyn doesn't believe it and told him that there's someone around him who cares about him more than anyone else. Sear laughed awkwardly at her response, but he looks bitter.

Sear went home. All the staff that used to live there had left already. They probably don't want to deal with the gossips, but Sear had put up a job posting in case if there are some people desperate enough for money to work there. A knock came and Evan showed up for the interview. Sear was surprised. Evan told him there's not many people who can leave a family alone and although Sear might not think of him as such, to Evan Sear was like a younger brother and son. Sear had kicked him out before thinking Evan was just being uselessly stubborn but he came back. He finally understood what Marilyn said. Now the mansion has 2 people.

Time passed again. Esco got a job working for that newspaper company. He also finally got a gf. Emily have been intensely training.

Marilyn who was finally able to escape from her friends went to see Siebel at the clock tower. He asked her did she like to keep him waiting as she went into his arms. She apologized to him. She told him she was saying good bye to her friends and he pinched her cheeks and stretch them asking if they're more important than him. She tries to tell him it hurts but he was having fun saying it's cute. She got mad at him asking if he's having fun. He blamed her for being cute so what can he do. As they talk about how time passes so quickly and they're almost 3rd years now, Marilyn was thinking how can they say such embarrassing words so casually.

Siebel sat down by the window and Marilyn naturally climbed and sat on his lap hugging him. She asked him how he'll spend his vacation to which he responded thinking of her. She told him to stop playing around and he said he wasn't. She can tell he wasn't but she wanted another answer, so he told her he'll just be doing boring things around the castle. She asked if he'll have time and he said he have enough time for her so she invited him to her place. Besides her village is now his territory. She told him she also got permission and she wanted to introduce her bf to her parents and the villagers. He thanked her for inviting him. She then let go of him. He was a bit sad to be let go but let it anyway. Marilyn then brought out a hammer and told him to cover his ears. She wasn't able to throw the bell away from that day so today she's going to break the bell. the bell shattered when she struck it.

Marilyn told him what the former chairman had said that with love he can continue to live for a lifetime controlling his abilities. She told him she believe in a completely happy ending do they should live happily together like main characters in their own fairy tale. Siebel laughed lightly at her with eyes slightly red. 'Marilyn. You probably don't know.... I love you so much.' He promised he'll make sure she doesn't regret choosing him so he will become a better person than he is now. They kissed. It was one of their many beautiful memories they will remember in the future.

Since Siebel had taken over their village, the village had been prospering. Her parents were nervous at meeting her bf. Her father brought out his suit which he haven't wore since his wedding. Father decided he will have to scare Siebel a bit to see how strong he is. His wife yelled at him what if their daughter heard him. Marilyn already heard them and glanced at her father. He coughing saying he was joking. Marilyn sighed knowing it's not a joke. Marilyn sometimes feel guilty that she's not their real daughter so she's more likely to listen tot them out of guilt. Her mother wondered if she should prepare some bath water for his stay later since he's coming from very far away since he's coming from carriage. Later, father then exclaimed out he saw something gold and Marilyn turned to look at that direction and noticed a gold decorated carriage. She was wondering if that's Siebel since he never use such a carriage when going from and to the academy. The carriage stopped and Siebel stepped out to greet Marilyn. Marilyn called his name but then she wonder what's with this carriage. her parents look struck at Siebel and Marilyn then tell them he's incredibly rich. Father then said his daughter is like him so she has excellent eyes when choosing a spouse.

Siebel acted polite with her parents. Marilyn asked him what's with the carriage since she never saw it before. He told her he doesn't like to stand out that much but today he is determined to show her parents he's rich since no one hates money. As they had food, Siebel then pretended to be sad. Marilyn wondered what was going on. Siebel then brought up some sob story how it has been so long since his mother passed away so he haven't eaten a meal with affection in so long. He complimented Marilyn and her parents saying that since she looks like them, it's no wonder she's so warm and pretty. Marilyn started to get goosebumps, feeling creepy over her idiot. When his eyes met her eyes, he shrugged and laughed while she silently cursed. Then she noticed her mother in tears. She was thinking screaming inwardly for them not to fall for this guy. But it didn't just end there. He started to flourish them with lots of gifts saying they're his parents now so he have to do this. Marilyn then asked her parents if she can bring him to her room and they agreed happily.

She started rebuking him for wasting money like that. He told her it's not a waste. he then look around her room and said it's narrow. She then said it's enough space for her. He said it's cute. He said it calms his heart while thinking she's sleeping and writing letter in this room. He stroked her cheeks telling her they will live well together later on and then he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close to him. They would've kissed but...

Lara, next door neighbor, screamed over the window stopped them. Siebel buried his face into Marilyn's shoulder and sighed. Marilyn thought to herself she also hate Lara at this moment but greeted her. Lara and Siebel started to bicker but she's losing the fight since she's not good at fighting. Lara was telling him she oppose of them together. He told her that he already got a formal permission from Marilyn's parents. Also today he's going to sleep at Marilyn's place. Lara ran off in tears. Marilyn lectured Siebel how he can do that to Lara when he knows she's like a child. Siebel said Marilyn is too much like an overprotective mother. She told him they're close friends. He then tells her it sometimes seem like she likes Lara more than him. She told him she likes both. He told her if she has to choose one. Marilyn then remember this same trick so she already knew how to answer him and quickly told him, of course it'll be him. But she felt guilty in her head and decided she will buy Lara a gift later. He didn't feel any sincerity from her words though but she kept repeating it to him. Then he commented she even calls Lara by nickname. They started to try to come up with nickname for Siebel but nothing work out so they agreed to just stick to calling each other by their actual names.

Her parents had a talk with Siebel so Marilyn went shopping with Lara. They ran into the boys that used to compare her and Lara before. They started to stare at Marilyn and started to get upset that they are starting to see Marilyn as pretty. Lara got upset and said Marilyn is pretty. They think their eyes had broken. A voice then apologize for intervening and asked who is ugly. The guys froze. Siebel then asked them again if they said Marilyn is ugly. He then looked over at Marilyn as if he didn't understand and told them there's nothing that's not pretty about Marilyn. Marilyn got embarrassed and covered his mouth and slap his chest. Lara then complimented Marilyn saying she even has pretty claws. Siebel then agreed that her claws are cute. The guys then yelled at Siebel asking who he is to intervene. Siebel then point at himself while placing his chin on Marilyn's head and told them he's her boyfriend. Marilyn then called them squids and they got upset.

The village chief showed up hearing the commotion. He asked what was going on. The guys tried to say something but then the chief noticed Siebel and called him 'lord' and told them Siebel was the distinguished guest who made the village his estate. The guys looked at Siebel, then Marilyn, then Siebel, then... and then laughed nervously. Siebel then smile brightly and asked them to treat him well.

A banquet was held at the village. Even so they were able to date peacefully since the villagers were scare of disturbing Siebel. Marilyn felt great power from having such a bf. They danced again, but this time they can dance to their hearts' content. Marilyn chose the cat mask again while Siebel chose the monster mask again. Marilyn asked isn't he a prince now and he said he'll be a prince when he removes the mask but only the cat princess can remove his mask. When the music ended, Siebel as usual wouldn't switch up partners. She called him greedy. He didn't deny it though and said he still won't send her over to someone else. She told him it's just dance partners. He said even so, he hates it. Well, she doesn't hate his possessiveness so she wrapped her arms around his neck and told him she can be just as greedy. They continued to be very close ignoring all the gazes around them.

On the day Siebel had to leave, he didn't want to go but he has to since he does have a lot of work to do as a lord. He started to complain like a child and ask her if she would be angry if he kidnaps her. She said of course, and he replied he can't even dream of kidnapping unless if he wants to be hated by his lover. Siebel reluctantly got on the carriage with difficulty. She then felt a gaze and looked back to see Lycan. Lycan hasn't been home for a long time since he's been working. He greeted her. Marilyn felt awkward between Siebel and Lycan. She can feel Siebel was upset she's making him leave at such a timing. He listened to her well as she pushed him into the carriage but she can see a vein at the back of his hand over the window sill. She can feel the unpleasantry. The carriage then finally moved away.

Lycan told her he can respect who she likes but doesn't know why she chose him. Marilyn knows Siebel is scary but he's someone who loves her enough to not be scary to her and she loves him enough to overlook his scary nature. Besides what person doesn't have flaws? She talked for a bit with Lycan but then decided she can't take it anymore and told Lycan to tell her parents that she left with Siebel at will. She then went to chase after the carriage. The coachman stopped the carriage and the door opened. Siebel called out her name looking surprise. She climbed on and told him it's unfair that only he get to visit their homes so she want to stay at his place now. Siebel look ecstatic and the carriage proceed again.

The heroine is also cute and sticky in that novel too

Did Siebel like Lara at first in this timeline too and eventually became interested in Marilyn? Or he has been really interested in Marilyn ever since their first meeting?

I love how this story written well and suits the characters age and without complicated conflicts. No white lotus etc etc. I can feel the love and friendship, but I am still sad for Lycan haha.

I completely agree that Lyncan isn't the greatest guy. he only changed his mind AFTER he fell in love and NOT before. Lyncan is one of those people who find it hard to have empathy for others. They feel people should fall in line with their way of thinking. These kinds of people find it hard to change. Maladaptive. From his way of never moving on past his first love is pretty much case and point. He could have at least tried to do so for his own sake but he hasn't. Also, a man who is decent to only a single person isn't truly decent.

I am glad that I am not the only one who doesn’t like Lycan. He is not better than the other village guys who insulted Marilyn. Before MC transmigrated, Lycan was one of those guys who look down at Marilyn and always compare her to Lara. If Marilyn ends up with him, people would say that it’s because she is Lara’s friend and that Lycan was simply pitying her.
Although I don’t like the idea that all MC ends up with the male lead or villain, I think Siebel is a great match for Marilyn in this story. At least Siebel is able to protect Marilyn and help her show that she isn’t Lara’s shadow, and Marilyn is able to help him overcome his problems. They complement each other.
