Anyone knows how to enter singapore from Indonesia? I need to bring my mom to NUH. I don't know the procedure and whether it is possible or not. Anybody from Singapore, please?
i think you'll yield more fruitful results from looking at more reliable sources... ones that aren't a novel forum.
Agreed. Try browsing through Singapore's Immigration & Checkpoints Authority website. You will likely find through that website whether you are eligible or not.
What is NUH? Generally, Indonesian can visit Singapore for 30 days without a visa. However, due to COVID, there are some more documents required. For more detailed requirements, you can read the Singaporean immigration site here.
I don’t know but try doing some research on a reliable source . A novel forum might not be the best place to look for answers .
General info: https://www.mfa.gov.sg/Services/Singapore-Citizens/COVID-19-Travel-Restrictions More useful info: https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/arriving/overview (under Death and Critical Illness Emergency Visit (Short Term) look for the compassionate reason one I guess) searching online is indeed better. even citizens wouldn't know about these travel arrangements unless they actively search it up. I hope everything goes well NUH is the university hospital
NUH is likely referring to the National University Hospital. If you are seeking medical treatment for your mother, you may want to read through the Extended Short Stay. Do keep in mind that Singapore has a very rigorous process for entering. Do keep in mind that this is only if you assume treatment lasts longer than 89 days.
Thank you everyone for the info. I have been trying to collect info but the more I read it the more it seems complicated. I don't have any other online forum so I post it in NU because people here is friendly! And i want to hear from personal experience.
Last time I go there pre covid they are adamant about filling up the forms correctly so be sure do it properly. While on line some guy go around and inspect the form and inform them if there are some errors. See if covid test is required cause here in Europe it is mandated to have negative test(PCR Test) result 48 hours before the flight.
Several days ago, i need to hand in a pcr test certificate with the sample taken max. 48 hours before boarding from Jakarta. Do check the admission rules for international arrival on the Singapore's side though. I suggest you to call their airport/official covid call centre to clarify the necessary procedure.
1. Contact NUH and get a date and time for an appointment with the correct doctor, they have an email to their hospital on their website. Email them on what type of doctor you want to visit. Specialist of what type etc. 2. Be sure as to have a confirmation of your appointment printed out and shown to immigration when you go there, because they will ask your purpose of visit, if you dont know how long the medical stuff would last, like operation or just a consulting visit. 3. Indonesians do not have to have a visa when you visit singapore for less than 30 days. 4. Be sure to book a place near NUH, or somewhere close to the MRT, there is an MRT station right beside NUH. 5. Show them the appointment notice and doctor name at the front desk of NUH, and mention that you are a foreiner. They will direct you to the correct room. Dont worry, most people in that hospital are able to speak english or melayu if you need to explain in detail in bahasa/malay. (For covid procedures they usualy have detailed information on website) From experience. I hope it helps
I'm not too sure about it but didn't Singapore have a 14 day quarantine period? You might need to go in 2 weeks in advance if you need to be quarantined.
