    I like rice, like it a lot, but don't eat it often.

    The rarer you keep foods you like, the better it feels when you actually have them.

    I mean, not rare enough to be a torture, but rare enough to be a delicacy.

    it's not that we can't live without rice, it's that rice is super cheap, easy to make, has a lot of calories (which the body uses for energy), and is a great side dish or ingredient for almost anything. i mean a 50 pound bag of rice costs what $20-$30 and is 250 servings of food. the value on it is insane plus it tastes good. As a carb source it's unbeatable and has been a part of their diet for thousands of years making it efficient and natural to just eat it every meal.

    As for if it's possible, i stopped eating rice every meal once i moved out from my parents house but that's mainly because i'm too lazy to cook. If i had a choice though i wouldn't have a problem eating rice every meal because again it tastes good and is cheap but i would need to find a wife that would cook for me.
