In my spare time I find myself looking up various local laws so I can both avoid breaking them, and also weaponize regulations against those who don't carry themselves with absolute caution. I'm curious about if you guys do the same thing? Do you read laws? Rules? Do you care about stepping on the toes of law enforcing? Answer below~ An example of how to rack up a ton of threads for that juicy trophy.
I make sure to look up forum rules on any forum I join, but I never checked my local laws for... Well, anything. As for following NUF rules... I make sure that all my spammy threads have a topic of conversation that makes people actually have something to talk about. Essentially making them only a bit spammy~
Laws also come with something called "precedent", and I've literally never heard of a single person being fined for jaywalking.
Hmm, the timing of a thread about rules. That said, talking about rules is pretty ironic considering what nuf tends to revolve around
On nuf, I love reporting necromancy and bots ~ And for those wonderful mod replies you get once in a while
I barely even read ToS pages As much as possible (if I remember or know them in the first place). Speaking of reporting, I think I only reported someone in NUF once. >.>
Eh? They thank you for the reports? I only get proper responses saying what the mods opinion on the case is.
Some of the mods silently solve the case. Some reply with a general response. And if you ask something in the report or once in a while in an average report they reply with a proper reponse (Okay these are not SSR+ rare, they are infact common-ish but >.<).
I try to but in my early days I definitely necroed and spammed >.> . But I try to follow the rules now ~.
