Discussion When I'm quiet it means...

I'm recharging my social battery. It doesn't have a long lifespan and slowly gets worn out after a couple of months, so I have to go on a long hiatus for repairs.

 

Hahaha i understand. Real life interactions also use up more energy compared to onlines ones.... Today there wasa celebration...me tired

 

When i'm quiet it means either i have a migraine or i'm holding my shit in. 2 out of 3, its the holding in shit.

 

Hmm~ I go quiet when I'm sad, angry or tired/unwell. Usually it's cause my current thoughts are on overdrive. My friends at work immediately notice hahah apparently I'm quite easy to read. That really helps though as when they ask me, I can go to ranting mode and I can get over what I was pissed off of for that moment. Sometimes it's harder to extricate myself from my thoughts though, and my friends know to let me be by myself during those moments. I appreciate those types of people a lot!

As for the picture... I don't know cause I never had a best friend. But I guess the first two does apply to me.

 

When I am quiet, it means that I am normal.

 

Right? Online, it isn't as fast-paced and you can take your time to respond. IRL, god forbid you even have to make eye contact with strangers and keep a polite/friendly/engaged face on all the time.

*hugs Shizuzu* It's ok not to have a best friend, as long as you have other people around that can be there for you when you need them.

 

My high school friends said the air seems heavier, colder and more loaded when I'm angry. It's like they already formed contingencies when I'm mad haha. They know not to approach already. I get frustrated a lot during then coz I'm always the class president and they usually fail to deliver when necessary!

Both. Family and officemates. There were the kiddos too who likes sticking close to us...

I just smile at strangers then walk away fast!

 

When I’m quiet it means I don’t want to be bothered by people.

 

I'm a huge chatterbox tbh, so if I'm quiet, it's usually because there is something on my mind and I'm totally distracted by it, or because I want the conversation to end already.

 

I find it more eye-catching when a chatterbox goes quiet. It really makes me curious what they're thinking

 

90% of the time it's one of two:

1) *insert plot of a novel I wanna write in the future here*
2) OMG Mom, stop talking already, I wanna go back to the PC...

 

i'm quite when i wake up, and make a lot of noise when sleeping

 

When i'm quite maybe the place I was in was uncomfortable,
Or I'm out of my energy battery, mad / pissed or serious of by something.
People really notice when i'm quite and they tend to be worried a lot,
It's because I'm a chatter box so maybe being quite seems odd for them.

My friends say I am a bit tsundere..... Around strangers, I am shy and quiet but I try to be polite. And with people I know, I think I am clingy (like hugs and stuff) and space out often. I have no idea why they think like that. I only get mad if they do something dumb and dangerous (or when they pinch my cheeks)

 

i go quiet when:
1. I feel alone/sad/depressed
- usually happens. it's normal. just want my time with myself
2. I don't like anyone I'm with
- i'd rather be with myself than try to fit in. it's just me.
3. I'm letting my imagination wander
- happens all the time as well, so i'm most of the time quiet

 

When I’m quiet I’m spamming the skip button irl in my head

 

When I’m quiet it means I can’t think of something to say .

 

I just discovered socializing, so ya, my honeymoon may last a while.

 

I can relate to this, cuz i am like this. But i can't relate to that picture
