English. The WORST thing that you'll ever have to learn if it isn't your first language. You know you'll get canceled these days if you don't use "you're" correctly? It sucks. Especially people that think they're grammar kings/queens. I will choke the living daylights out of you. respect you if you claim to be one, but let's face it, not everyone's grammar/English is perfect.

Onto my main subject, English. It's terrible, awful, hard to learn and understand, and it's just overall bad. I'd rather learn Japanese than learn English. Yes, it's that bad. Don't let Social Studies teachers fool you, they're all living a lie. (the probably work for the government)

In a sense, some of them do work for the government. Public school are funded by the government; so technically, teachers receive government funding in their own salaries.

I mean... even if your English was originally bad and not everyone has perfect grammar, I don't think a correction or two here and there is bad. You can learn and improve from it, so you can be one step closer to having good grammar.

It's not like they're telling you to use bad grammar and shoving that down your throat :blobconfused:

Cancel them back. Tell them that their rules are oppressing you and grammar is prototypical huwite supremacy and cis-normative hetero-patriarchy.

Japanese is a challenge in and of itself, too. A single kanji character can have multiple pronunciations depending on the context. Some have as many as eighteen.

Generally speaking, learning English itself also has slightly more utility than learning Japanese. In terms of how many speakers there exist in the world, there are more English speakers than Japanese ones. In the business world, English is the language agreed upon for any communication. And most websites on the Internet are written in English, or have an English counterpart to them.

I don’t think anyone yells or says soemthing at u (unless ur in school and u get a strict teacher or working on an essay or soemthing) if u incorrectly us “you’re”. See I’ve been using “u” instead of “you” an no one has said anything till (now?)

But you're and your are completely different things, similar to they're, their and there, and ignoring that error means that person will continue to make the exact same error until that person is corrected. So it's not grammar nazi-ing. You're being taught to use English correctly. The sooner it's done, the better it is for that person. That's a free lesson right there, you should be thankful.

When you make an article, translate or make a document for your employers, your readers and employers won't teach you how to use English properly just like how they won't tell you that your work sucked, they will simply judge you as incompetent. At the first opportunity, they will put you (one judged incompetent) at the top of the list of people to be sacked.

When some white dudes came to Ameba and communicated using the wrong Japanese grammar, native Japanese speakers informed them that they got the grammar wrong. Instead of getting angry, they thanked those who corrected them. Why can't people who make English mistakes acknowledge that they made those mistakes and learn from them?

For the record, Ai-chan's is not a native English speaker and Ai-chan got good enough not through going to class, but by communicating with native speakers (through cybersex and gaming) and being corrected for years. So Ai-chan's advice is, if people give you advice, take it. It's free.

But yes, English is horribly hard to learn. Why are there so many exceptions? And the grammar makes no sense. And why would you tell the story of what's happening now through past tense? It's happening fucking now!!!

Well english is on its way to become the universal language (or maybe it already is) so i think it is more advantageous to learn it.
Being corrected isn't that bad, just think of it as an opportunity to learn and improve.

And yes... English is tough :blobcry: unfortunately so...

what written is not how it speak, meaning prepare for many type of proper pronounce hmm tail, tale hehehe oh well its have plenty of unpredictable spelling

nuance? no maybe more about the native think it sound or feel right cuz its like that... sound weird? nope~ get up on morning and put on cloth.... which one you prefer, an interesting story or a little interesting story?

exception~ the bastard, blacksheep, the highlight of why english is bad~ it simple too much to ignore~
