I might be wrong but ... Trees don't produce oxygen they purify it, it's algae and those kinds of this that produce it right? ~

 

Oxygen is produced and released by trees while we take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide. And the trees take the carbon dioxide- and there's your cycle~
