Discussion Q:What’s a skill that has improved since lockdown started?

Ever since the pandemic started my art has gone ⬆️ while my life has gone ⬇️. Ofc, things aren’t all bad now. It still sucks. Now I don’t got much free time since I started work. Mom didn’t like me staying home all day. It was either go to school or at least get a job while I’m taking a break from school. So now I don’t get much time to draw, read fanfics, BL manga/hwa/hua, or play video games.

I still have a lot to improve on my art and want to do do more things with it. Explore other things like making videos I guess. Writing definitely wanna improve on my writing. Gave up write 3 years ago lol. I only started writing because of the roleplaying thread called Terra#09: The Journals. Which I loved and had fun writing! I collected all of my entries and edit all on doc. I love going back to reread em. I wanna collect all the others too and put them in a nice neat doc but one person had unique style of writing with the cute blobs. emotes couldn’t transfer over in doc so that’s why I gave up on it lol.

Maybe I could try connect back with writing by posting on the roleplaying threads here on the forum. Maybe try the AV Guild. Anyways I’ve gone on a tangent. This maybe should have gone in blogs.

but one thing I definitely wanna do is make some art for Terra#09. I think already made some but I’ll have to check thread since I’ve lost 4000+ photos on my iPad. Accidentally deleted them all when I wanted to move em all to google photos. Rip. 2017-2020 memories. That’s another story for another time I guess.

Languages, but that's an ongoing thing. Fitness, because I get bored easily if I'm not working so it normally converts into me working out if I'm not doing chores, organizing things or cooking. Art skills, but that's not hard because I started at -5 and now things vaguely resemble what they're supposed to be.

Pretty much. I have lots of people to thank for that particular skill

 

Pokemon go, before corona I very rarely go out and miss a lot of things but now I don't go out and still get gift

 

I had a lot of my highschool frinds play that game. They still play it but not much since pandemic hit. I never played it my phone is too shitty for that. Kek.

Hmm~ my memory and hearing? xD im so embarrased to say that my hearing was quite..Eh? For more context, i used to not hear sounds from a distance even if it was a few centimeters away, so i can say thar it improved a lot ^^ my memory on the other hand is quite the same ;-; although math is still hard to me (- > -)

 

My NUF surfing skills have improved considerably during quarantine

 

People roleplay on here....? That's very interesting I'd like to try it out.

 

My hearing is good only in ear. Rip, my other ear is dead. Idk why I never ended up finding out how it got like this. I’m pretty sure I was born with normal functioning hearing.

Noice, I didn’t go on NUF much. Stayed in the SHcord and occasionally go on SHF which makes go check NUF too.

Yeah there’s a whole section for that in the forums. Some ppl also make their own threads in community creations.

It’s smaller then NUF so I guess it isn’t as overwhelming like NUF.

Procrastination I feel as if I have mastered it. And my concentration level plummeted. I keep getting distracted by anything and everything.

 

Its nice to see everyone have at least some improvement.

For me it I think it is my aiming skills in gaming. Before, no matter what games I plays, my aim always potato, but now it improved by quite a margin.

 

Ehhh...?? NUF isn't overwhelming, it's very cozy~
