Most people I ask irl say no, I wonder if it's different for avid readers And if it's yes, do the things you read makes sense? Is it something you notice you've read before or just anything?
Is reading in your dream also writing because you have to project the words in front of yourself? Are things spelled wrong in dreams?
Whatever words I need to read have their meanings imprinted in my mind automatically, no need to read~
Can't say I remember if I read on them or not. I don't remember my dreams much, and the few I remember don't involve reading.
I remembered that before my hs finals, i got spooked by the upcoming math exam so much, i even dreamt of doing math exercises. I even still mumbled some equations to solve certain problem on the dream world's math exercise book a few moments after i woke up . So yupp, guess that count as "reading"
What generally happens is that the dreamer cannot actually read the text in front of them. However, their brain already feeds themselves the knowledge of what was in the text, thus, providing the illusion that they have read such writing.
Yes I can read in my dreams. Funny thing is there are dreams wherein I'm just staring at the screen and a chat is all I can see, no 3d perspective of what I'm doing whatsoever expect the chat between me and some people or just me spectating the chat. Weird but its happened me a few times now. Well.

Maybe some times if the words are big? But generally not really. The very few dreams that I've had where I even read something, it was more like I automatically know what I'm reading rather than actually reading it.
Hmm well I can’t remember if I have but definitely had dreams where I’m taking an exam in school . I do have dreams where after I fall asleep after reading & my dream continues and makes its own story plot by combining whatever I read... (like couple lead kisses then suddenly an apocalypse happens... ) but it feels like I’m just watching a show or play when I have those
Most of my dreams are about getting to the book... I had one repeat where it was hidden in underwater library protected by huge monster~ That library was hidden under waterpark protected by bunch of mean girls >.< Got in by beating them all in various challenges, then hiding when they got angry and chased me with a gun~ More scary than the monster. Beat that one by playing dice after a bit of hiding/chasing.
I've both read and did math in my dreams. But I dunno what the content was. II just remember doing them. Regarding maths, I think, I was trying to solve an equation and find the value of x.
