Want to know why.. I was trying to get ready for work. Than realize what day it was. Lol. I’m pretty sure this has happened to me before, but it’s been awhile. That’s why I was laughing at myself in the shower. Today is Sunday and I don’t work on Sunday. Lol. This probably happens to a lot of people. I hear my bed calling. But to wide awake to go back to bed. So... Good morning everyone. I hope everyone has a great day. Lol
at least you get to freshen up before sleeping again, i had a dream of taking my language exams and slept the entire examination until night i woke up crying thinking i failed the exam then i found myself on my bed
I’m conflicted. I want to “LIKE” your post, but I also want to console you. IDK. I hope your day gets better
Yeah, one way or another I usually get 3 to 4. Although the day before I didn’t have any. I’m just the type who thinks sleeping just takes away time from my hobbies. Like reading
Happy Sunday! ^^)/ At least you realized it before you went to work~ ... In any case, I think this happened to me before, but back when I was a child and had to go to school and stuff... Been a while now~
I went and waited for my school bus once. I thought I missed it and called one of my friends when she asked me if I am awake properly.
Yep. This is me every morning now, including days off. Can't sleep much once the sun is up, even if I haven't slept enough. So I stay in bed and read at least. I only started getting ready for work on a day off once or twice, but that was because the schedule was erratic/confusing. One of those two times I got to work and they said, 'but you're not supposed to be working today', looked at the schedule sheet and sure enough, it was the wrong day, so I went back home...
My mom works nightshift at the hospital so I take her to work and pick her up in the morning one day I got up at 6:30 am and left to pick her up I waited probably an 1hr1/2 or 2 hrs before trying to call her to see when she was coming out in order to call her I have to go through a secretary the secretary told me that she hadn't worked that night and I was very confused for like 5 minutes before I realized she was still at home in bed and I got up and went there and sat there for 2hrs for no reason
One of the very famous incidents in my family was when my youngest sister was still schooling. Her elder sister tends to drive her to school while she catches up on her sleep in the car. So one fine day, they drove to her school only to find the gates closed. What annoyed her elder sister most was my youngest sister's response. "Oh, it's a school holiday..." then she went back to sleep. In the words of the poor middle child of the family, "I felt like strangling the little twerp right there.". lol. Unfortunately, jumpscares like "I'm late for work!!!" were all too common for me a few years back. Due to manpower shortage, I had to work 16 hour shifts for 8 months (3 days on, 1 day off) and had like 4 hours of sleep a day for that period of time, so after I quit, for a period of time, every time I fell asleep, I would get startled whenever I woke up because I thought I was either late for work or nodded off during work. It was pretty bad. Mostly gotten over it but once in a while I will still jump thinking I'm late for work.
I got up and got ready today went to the dentist only to be told my appointment is Thursday. So I walked back home facepalming myself in my mind all the way back on the walk.
Glad it was just a dream! That's actually really sweet to hear. Good child, best child. I did have a great day playing with my nephew, but damn little kids are energy batteries. It just keeps going and I'm sort of sitting here in a daze in front of my computer having my cup of tea while I sift through project stuff.
