I was supposed to say congratulations when i read the title (i don't know who Kiryu Coco is), but seeing the content i'll just post this:
It was really out of the blue. From the 4th generation I would least expect Coco to be the first to graduate... I thought she would stay for at least 4-5 years before graduating. I don't think it's because Cover forced her to retire. Because even with the West Taiwan debacle, she still bring a lot of views and superchat revenue. Not to mention being one of the over 1 million subscriber VTuber, firing her wouldn't make sense now that CN branch are pretty much considered never existed. And even if they fire her cause they want to revive the CN branch, I don't think it will ever succeed now that the damage is already done. I would question Cover upper brass competence if that were the case. My actual guess is that either real life issues like health or maybe even marriage. It could be that she's trying to start a new career. Either way, I'm still sad that I no longer can watch Reddit Shitpost Review with other holomembers. It wouldn't be the same without her. She's pretty much the bridge between the JP girls and the Western meme culture.

She's back to being indie and changing platforms to Mildom. But even that kson onair has tamer content in yt so i guess it's the platform if anything.
