Always phone, it's closer to an actual book. Sometimes I use a kindle to reread stuff that I've downloaded the PDFs for.

Phone. I feel comfortable with it and it's easier for me to use.

I always use my laptop. It's more comfortable to read on a bigger screen. I used to use my phone about 2-3 years ago, but I rarely use it anymore unless I'm outside and not in a position to open my laptop.

PC Master Race. As for phones. . . I've got an old flip phone. It won't shatter when I look at it wrong, and it serves the purpose of a phone. Talking. Texting can die in a fire.

I use an iPad and now I feel excluded D:

Honestly though I have my phone permanently running as a hotspot for my iPad so technically I guess I’m using a phone to read.

Both. When I'm at home I use my PC and when I'm outside my phone. It's more comfortable to read on PC.

Laptop, it's more comfortable and doesn't feel as hot/sweaty as a phone.
It's too straining to read on a phone in comparison, so that's only for waiting rooms and public transport.

I used to have a tablet for it, but it's too slow these days so when I do use it it's mostly for streaming stuff to the tv.

It depends on multiple factors, really!
In terms of preference, I'd probably side with my laptop. Thus being the reasons:
    • If I read the novel as Google Drive Document, it's always open on exactly the page I left off on. When I view it on my phone, upon changing apps, it often leaves the document and kicks me back into the "menu", where I have to find the chapter I'm currently at once more.
    • The screen is bigger, and so are the letters. So if I'm reading in the evening, while already tired, it helps to hold my eyes open. That, and the reading position (at least if I'm reading on my laptop while sitting, as opposed to reading on my phone in bed - although I often lie in bed with my laptop, too).
    • Sometimes I find scrolling on my phone slightly "annoying", as in, constantly having something on my screen. On my laptop, I can use the up and down arrow keys to scroll, and my hand and arm position in general is less straining.
    • I can take screenshots of Drive Docs on my laptop, but not on my phone!
Regardless, I feel like I often only use my laptop if I'm reading during the day - in the night I prefer my phone, probably because it's handier to put away, because I can hide it quicker should my parents check my room at 4 am and because for whatever reason, reading on my phone, as soon as I'm hooked, lets me stay awake for longer?
It's quite ironic also, since when I'm reading something, I probably read more during the night than during the day, since I get less distracted in the night, and generally less distracted on my phone.

So while I do prefer to use my laptop, I more often than not end up using my phone!
(Which results in me using both devices quite chaotically without any order to it. Oh welp!)

Phone! So I can lay in bed at the same time~ Also due to the smaller width, it's easier to read~

Kindle. If I wasn't reading on Kindle I'd read way way less. And I prefer other eReaders; it's just that I read in Chinese and Kindles have very good Chinese support.

Phone for web novels. Phone for PDFs. Phone for ePubs. Phone for almost everything. My laptop is really slow because I got scammed to buy it more than 6 years ago, so it's much handier to read on my phone now. Laptop is only for work.
