There's more inters*x smut than pure BL smut here on NU at least I feel so. Ofc Inters*x people can be men, nothing against that. I'm just wondering if it should be classified differently tag- and genre-wise. Most of the time they aren't tagged as inters*x. Which is in imo annoying.

Depends on the physical appearance and the behavioral description of the inters*x protagonist.

I haven't read a GL with inters*x before, and even more so, a BG smutt with one of the couple is inters*x.

Because inters*x have two sets of organs, depending what organ was functioning was the gender of the protagonist.

But some smutt novel tends to make these two organ function. So, the genre tag will depends on the attitude of the protagonist.

Cause many protag inters*x like to be a man.

Pardon my Language: I'm into BL bc I want gay sex (anal or oral) not dick into vag. While I'm still okay with it I wanna get warned first and not be blindsided into it.

Uhn... If the characters identify as male, then it's BL.

If they don't, then it's not... I guess?

It doesn't really matter too much in all honesty.

If you see intersex used in enough stories that it warrants a tag you could bring it up in the tag discussion thread.
My main question though is, why all the asterisks?

Wow really? I feel like it's the opposite.

And if they identify as a boy, it's BL.

There's already a tag for it: Futanari

I think the OP wasn't referring to futas... I mean... I dunno, I don't expect someone to refer to futas as intersex... Like uhn... I dunno, the way both are used are very different, usually.

...I mean, I don't either, but most of what is classified as "intersex BL smut" here is filed under that tag, afaik. /shrug

I'm not really sure about the exact differences and stuff, but that's what I got from reading.

If the OP is referring only to that then fair enough, but otherwise intersex is a far broader term than just having both sets of genitalia.
Some may be genetically one sex but only visibly having the genitalia of the other sex.
