I honestly can never read subtitles fully before they get replaced with the next lines so I can only watch dubbed but I’ve seen some clips of interesting kdramas on tiktok I wanna watch

I don’t think so? I’ve never seen people dubbing kdrama maybe expect some people dubbing a scene they really like maybe for shows they love or smth

Pretty sure they don’t have a dub version. You might have a chance of finding a scene that is dubbed by someone because they enjoy it, but the chances of that are pretty low.

I know it depends on the distributors.
Dubbed version in Tagalog for the Philippines for instance is very common especially when you watch it on local TV.
I found an English dub of this fairly recent Korean movie starring Kim Go Eun of Goblin fame

Even the songs were dubbed into English lol.
    I was quite pissed

I don't mind the voices being dubbed but I prefer Asian language songs

Maybe unrelated but there is this company in my country dubbing kdramas in our language
Just wanting to say watching Lee Dong Wook (my favorite actor) speak in our language was really fun.:blobmelt:

    Reduce playback speed.
0.75 is too slow so I use 0.85
This is available on VLC but not in most streaming sites as they jump from 0.9 to 0.75

    I doubt it will happen.
Netflix are the biggest English distributors but have no TV channel unlike Filipino distributors

What/which language? IDK for ENG, but I saw my mom once watching old Meteor Garden in Hindi/Indian dub on a cable channel & long time ago there was a trend in my country that imported shows that are not ENG and/or "children show" must be dubbed to Bahasa in my country

    Yes.

Dubbed is shit as far as my unfortunate experience with my native language is concerned. Even if I have to watch them with no subtitle, I won't resort to watching dubbed version in my language. There's excessive amount of moaning to show reactions and instead of controlling their intonations they instead made the emotion behind the dialogues so abrupt that it doesn't connect with the next lines. Did I mention the excessive amount of moaning? If I close my eyes and just listen, it felt like a cheap porn film instead of a dubbed kdrama.
