What do you do when you can’t fall asleep?

Read your school text books. You can study a bit and also you fall asleep pretty soon. 2 in 1 if you ask me

Since I’ve experienced this last night...

• Try to tire my brain with a fictional world!
• Give up and search “How to fall asleep fast”
• Attempt the military method and fail. A lot.
• Get up and sleep upside down
• Try to re-enter old dreams
  
• Do the dead bug pose and torture my limbs

In the end, I managed to enter the half-asleep state, righted myself, and forced myself to pretend that I was sleeping

 

What I do is play white noise, meditate/empty your mind relax the body and i'll be asleep in a few minutes. It would fail though if my mind is anxious or i cant relax.

 

1) don't drink tea or coffee before bed
2) don't stare at the screen before bed
3) generally don't do anything that might excite your brain into not sleeping before bed

 

Read until my eyes can’t open anymore which usually works unless I drink caffeine

 

I take even breaths through my mouth and nose at the same time, within the next 5 minutes I'm off to dreamland

 

When I can't fall asleep, I count sheep~

I actually answered a similar question before. Guess I'll say the same thing again.
I make up a story from the stories I've read recently and imagine myself as a character in that story. I then take actions following the storyline and based on my character. This way the story progresses till I fall asleep. I hardly ever get to the end. So the rest is saved up for the next time I can't sleep.
I actually hardly ever have trouble falling asleep. Most of the time, I'm out before 15 mins have passed. I actually need ways to keep myself awake.

recall your boring professors lectures. I my case the dean , his voice is like a lullaby.
