just started reading the manga and caught up(since it only has 10 chapter so far), so what chapter in the novel the manga is currently on? since i want to continue reading

Oh really? I saw a few spoilers on one of the manga chapters and one person said that the Leo x Finne ship was not going to be a thing because Leo was already in love with someone and proposed to her in the novel.
Another person also said something about a saintess from a foreign country being the only FL.

They will never be a thing because Leo isn't the ML, it's Arnold his twin.
And from the start there's no leo x finne shipping.
And Leo only loved the saintess.

 

Yeah Leo only has eyes for the Saintess. Finne only has eyes for Arnold. In the novel (what we currently have translated) Arnold has admitted in internal monologue that Elna is his first love. The nine-tailed miko (basically the Saintess of the Celestial Fox Tribe) obvious likes Arnold. There's a couple of other possibilities that might play out in the future (like the thief daughter of the Archer S class Hero) but that's about it. I'm only on chapter 323 of the currently 366 translated chapters cause dear gods is the civil war chapters bloody boring. The pacing is all messed up compared to the previous arcs.

Henrick's death was very disappointing. Like at the least show him drinking poison for dramatic effect. I'd rather he be allowed to be his own man more or less emancipated from the imperial family than feel so guilt ridden and abandoned that he takes his own life.

And then there's William holding the idiot ball. Doesn't make sense that William wouldn't have multiple people watching over him or that Henrick, a known traitor in contact with the new king, could get his hands on poison.

 

I just read the first few chapters and I already anxious about this mc future harem life. Here, he meet blond bimbo bombshell, Finne. She must be harem candidate, right? Is it okay to deceive her and his future ally with this disgusting farce? Somewhere along the future the secret identity of silver is bound to be revealed to the whole world. Which I am pretty sure will happen as its one of powerful plot point that most author tend to use. The repercussion will be ugly, at least for the dull prince... Right?
I can't bring myself to read more of this...

 

Finne figures out his secret identity real early. As for his identity being revealed to the world, they even discuss that early on that it's bound to happen and that it's better that he does it on his own terms rather than others finding out about it, but that the pros for keeping his secret identity outweigh the cons for the moment.

I mean I've stopped reading this novel, but for completely other reasons. There's some fun times before you get to some utterly boring and unreadable arcs.

I am quite new to this so can anyone tell me it's the light novel that gets licensed right? So how exactly translating web novel mean illegal? (Sorry if it's a stupid question)

 

Well it's illegal regardless unless you have the copyright holder's permission. However if they're not making any money off of it (freely published webnovels) chances of anyone making a stink about it is extremely low. Now if someone licenses the light novel but not the web novel, they have no legal standing to sue, but they could ask the author (or whoever holds the rights to the web novel) to do so.

 

I see welp hoping to see the English LN release soon in the market with a release date as for WN might have to go to raw site and translate myself using deepl or something..... (man this will be pain) sigh.

 

Someone should update the status of the novel in NU LINK of novel regarding licensing part cause main page says its not licensed when it is it could lead to confusion

 

Were both version licensed? or was it only the LN? if the latter, then, don't. The novel page on NU is of the web novel, not the LN
