This is one of the reasons I hate America

1st one is Soccer
2nd one is Rugby

And at the end of the day...
Both are called football. And i dont care since I only watch NBA or Olympics

First of all, the American football is called that because it’s a foot long. Second of all, it was the Brits who first called the sport “soccer.” We got it from you. I am so f—ing tired of us being blamed for what you started.

Beside I like rugby more due to anime which is Eyeshield 21 and The Blind Side Movie that very moving.

I see Rugby more interesting than soccer cause how the game is more complex than just chasing the ball and shooting it to your enemy net. Soccer is kinda overated _(｡⊿°」∠)

Yeah, I feel like I see a post by a Brit about it every few months on some form of social media ranting about us Americans calling it “soccer.”

 

If they don't like it, suggest calling it asser, since soccer comes from asSOCiation part of association football(full name of soccer).

I think the same!!! I'm not saying anything if one calls football soccer, that's just like using a synonym.
BUT...... don't call a game played by your hands football!!! That's called Rugby. Not football!!!

Actually neither of them are right. The SI unit for temperature is Kelvin. People just love to use units to their own liking

Celsius is only allowable coz' the size of one Celsius degree is the same size as one kelvin

 

Literally the US is the only country that calls that "soccer " for the rest of the world calls it Football

 

Pretty sure Japan calls it “soccer” too.

I just looked it up. Japan uses both, but uses soccer more often. I’ve definitely seen it used as “soccer” in anime like “Meitantei Conan.”
