Honestly, I have found out about it from you and from skimming through it, it looks unnecessary but hey I don't know. What do you think of it?
Sounds a little weird and far-fetched. I'm happy with my own facial structure though, so probably I won't be trying it regardless of whether it works.
2 things. 1) I was surprised to find out some people 'rest' their tongue at the floor of their mouth instead of the roof/against their upper teeth 2) as a kid I'd frequently not just rest my tongue against my upper teeth but I'd also actively push against them, so while I didn't know about mewing or anything I did it unintentionally. and I think that's why I've got a bit of an overbite. So at least I think mewing does something. Edit: after actually reading the article instead of going by what I'd heard before To properly mew, you must relax your tongue and make sure it’s entirely against the roof of your mouth, including the back of the tongue. So I guess I wasn't mewing then, since it's only the front of my tongue. Honestly I don't even know how you'd get the back of your tongue to somehow touch the roof of your mouth.
While I was a kid my tongue could not rest at the bottom since my jaw was too narrow. I had plenty of crooked teeth as a kid I had to wear a mouth piece that help push the bone and it comes with a pin that you put in a pinhole and rotate 2 and do it again next week and it would push the bone making space for your tongue one for the top of the mouth and another one for the bottom it takes about a year. after that they put rubber bands between all of your teeth and molars to make your teeth evenly spaces and getting them ready for braces. once they are ready for braces it's all about eating carefully and properly cleaning and all the things you can't eat. Just the mouth piece alone to make space is a painful experience. I got braces removed at 17 they were invisible kind so no one know I was using them. the only things I was told to keep is the mouth piece since even when you remove braces some teeth and molars want to go back to their old position so it's a good idea to use it while you sleep at least the first few months.
Hold up do people actually rest their tongue in the floor of their mouth??? I thought almost everyone rests the tip of the tongue on the roof since it’s kinda keeps my jaw/mouth close and my saliva in my mouth
First impression: Is mewing another name for meowing? After reading: Well, that sounds tiring but each to their own. But that does sound interesting
nah first time hear such term but it is true its not new thing~ at least this cat know there variation such as push your teeth, as for resting on floor stuff yeah there was similar stuff decades ago but this cat forget the specific effect it related to speaking stuff or another~
I think doing shit like this is extremely dumb. Its essentially people morphing their body to literally look like something that was photoshopped/ began as a meme. Yes, the gigichad pic is photoshopped. It was literally made as a meme and its extremely stupid that people think this is something that would look good.
My jaws can crack itself already just like my other joints (especially back), i don't think i need anymore probs
