Suicide seems like a strange choice under those circumstances. I mean, I can kinda see it, but running away and trying to restart his life under a different name someplace else feels more reasonable.
I felt the same. "as a practical person, he strangled himself" really seems weird to me. I would have expected something more survival oriented. My only suspicion is that maybe he was influenced by hypnosis or something like that
I agree to an extent that the suicide was a strange choice from how he's described in that section. However. It also pointed out how everyone he works with and his family were all killed. Not to mention that his career had been murdered in the process to add to the impact. It's really not inconceivable that someone in that situation, who just received such a massive shock, would slip immediately into depression and decide they had nothing left to live for. Especially when dealing with cultures that value family and career as highly as asian countries do, that reaction would make a horrific sense to the native reader.
Makes sense that different cultures would consider different things normal. But this really feels like an ancient samurai/noblemans sucide once you fail your mission /ambition thing
agreed, sadly I had to reread the chapter to figure out who he was then realized he was a "no name" lol
He was that guy the clone went to trick into thinking he had messed up the plans of some higher up in his own organization (he instigated the explosive protection artifacts as revenge for his cadet going down the rankings) , from what i understand. Maybe it was something different
yep a mob "no name" lol only good for a few chapters since they did give him a name then tossed, I honestly thought it was the schools VP that was a real donkey the first read till I went back and checked the name (thus the reread) to find it was the guy that bribed for that explosive necklace
Help. I am addicted, but I can't find the raws past chapter 323. I tried buying this novel in Korean, but the damn website doesn't let me MTL it. I don't know what to do. I am scared and I am getting desperate.
The school really should punish Yeorum for this. If they don't, then it'll only encourage future students to do the same thing, and get themselves killed in the process.
Her guardian is very hands off as long as they're reasonable and don't endanger the girls in some way. Though yeah, if Yeorum didn't want to allow herself to be punished, he probably wouldn't allow it either, but I think she's capable of understanding why this was wrong if someone calmly explained it to her. Of course, no one has really shown an ability to calmly explain things to her so far at that school. Still, I think they could easily punish her simply be not giving her any points for the raid. It would be a slap on the wrist, but would send a clear message to all future students considering this move.
I think it depends on wether collapsing the cieling is feasible for a normal cadet or not. I don't quite understand where Yoroem stands in terms of power levels compared to her 'peers'
It doesn't matter whetever PTSDman is actually gonna do anything, risking pissing him off is something they're gonna want to avoid.
I just realized that the people in the dungeon might not have heard about Yu Jitae messing up the rank 53. When they exit and find out i wonder how scared they will be?
They were perfectly happy to piss him off before BM showed up. Fear of him shouldn't be enough to stop them.
I was searching for some mtl because of the cliff on the latest chapter. While searching on google, one of the results was webnovel and it got me thinking about whether or not that the reason for slow updates is that webnovel is on talks about this novel. Anybody who knows the answer?
I just checked, and there is indeed Kidnapped Dragons on webnovel. Only up to ch 32 so far. Hope they don't force the current translators away. They are doing good work
