It seems like Riftan has incredibly deep feelings for Max because of childhood memories but Max ... Does she know?

I reread book 1 last night now I'm going to talk about sir Elliot Charon. he was the first knight to show his respect for Max after the werewolf incident. somehow I thought that sir Elliot liked Max (of course in the end all knights liked Max.) but sir Elliot liked her a bit more. 1. in the chapter when Agnes visited Anatol, at that time Riftan was sparring with one of the other knights. max who saw Riftan fall in shock & fear, then Elliot helped Max, then Max held Elliot's hand tightly because of fear. oh of course Riftan was honored to see that. hahahahaha 2. when at the spring festival in Anatol. Riftan pulled Maxi and brought her behind a tree which was then disturbed by Agnes who made a fuss with fireworks. at that time Riftan said why did Elliot not stop her (here I suspect Elliot allowed Agnes to disturb Riftan & Max） 3. Elliot was the one who nagged Ruth the most when he found out Max sneaked into Ethylene Castle as a priestess (oh I can clearly see how Elliot loves her). 4. In book 2, Elliot is the first knight to greet Max after 3 years. and he also offers to ride a horse together when he saw Maxi exhausted. ahh I like sir Elliot Caron who is described as having a smart & calm character. is am wrong? please help me

Yea, no, she doesn't really remember. BUT there are a few glimpses, like on their wedding night his sweaty body in the firelight brings up thoughts of a blacksmiths forge, as she wonders that this is what a body of melted gold must look like. (She peeked at him making horseshoes at the blacksmith when she brought him the flowers as thanks). Or when bathing him she remembers that dog she had, that he buried. These memories are things she unconsciously associated with him. I hope a scene comes where the memories trickle together into realization. Also I have a feeling more chapters will be released soon, maybe within 3 months? This is just a feeling, that things are moving again behind the scenes with ridi and the author. I hope so, anyway.

I think Eliot think of her as a sister that needs to be protected and cherished, aside from being the wife of their Lord and Commander. Sir Eliot grew up with his sisters. That may have fueled his desire to protect and fight for their lady after witnessing her miserable appearance back in Croiso Castle.

I have a feeling that the song about Uigru and the nymph is Maximillian and Riftan Uigru is a knight that rode a white dragon up to heaven = Riftan is a knight, leading Remdragon(Rem=White) Nymph seduced Uigru with a flower crown = Maxi gave Riftan a flower crown as a thank you token for saving her when she was a child; Maxi has strong Earth and weak water element, but none of fire and wind element, isn't that just like a tree? Also, the multiple art cover portrayed Maximillian in a lot of flowers in her hair, just like a beautiful nymph ... So, Maxi and Riftan is the reincarnation of the lovers in the legendary tale. I wonder if their ending would be as sad as the song lyrics, where the knight flew up to heaven and left the nymph behind, waiting for him Under the Oak tree.
