Spoiler The FL Layra became an orphan and lost all her prestige and title. She was being persuaded by many men who wanted to covet her cause of her beauty. When she was just 16, one of her father's acquaintance took her in, he turned out to be a bad person and tried to force himself on her at night but she managed to escape from his house and this is where she met Theon, the Marquis (he was an illegitimate child) and he took her in, later she became his mistress. She loves him and he too seems to care about her but ofcourse what can you expect of a married man. Yes, Marquis is actually a married man, he married his wife (contract marriage) to solidify his position. Layra accidentally becomes pregnant (she forgot to take her pills because of a mild fever she suffered from and was too exhausted) and this is when it hits her that she has to leave. She was already suffering from guilt and shame and when she conceives a child of a man she loves (who is himself an illegitimate child) She decides that it is now time to leave. Spoiler Theon, her child's father is not the Male Lead. The Male Lead is Duke Harsien, who gave up his title to his sister, he found Layra, who was his first love, alone and pregnant. Also until now, even after meeting Male Lead Layra's situation doesn't seem to be stable. I've read it in bits and pieces so I only know just this much. Spoiler: From Saviour to Lover Theon looks shady, he sort of cornered her, although he saved her but still. Layra decided to go to the Temple but Theon told her that Young Miss (nobility) or not, women do all sorts of work like rearing animals, cleaning, sewing etc. also the Priest there are not all good, he hinted that it may repeat what happened to her here. She shouts at him that she has nothing to offer him so why does he wanted to help her - he just replies that he can't leave a young lady on her own. After a year Layra turns 17, Theon manages to win her heart and she slowly opened up to him. Layra wanted to die and Theon told her that if she can't live for herself then she should live for him who loves her. So yes, this is how they became lovers.

What about the kid will the ml accept the kid from the other man And I thought when she runaway pregnant I thought the kid was from ml they made it??... *Sigh~ I don't understand....ugh
It shouldn't be of much problem. There are already many novels in which the FL accepts the ML's child from his first wife/love.
