So in majority of the novels I've read, the main love interest(s) of the protagonist is usually the most beautiful girl. Someone who is the 'school's idol' or the 'heavenly princess' or something like that. I'm tired of this, so I'm looking for something in which the main girl isn't like this. She can be the 3rd most beautiful, or 5th strongest etc. I've found a few novels like this: 1. The Charm of Soul Pets : The girl MC marries is not the most beautiful or the strongest of the story. But still, she is better than all the others. Although romance is not the main focus of the story, but it's still well done. A story where the actual, logical best girl wins. 2. Genjitsu de Rabukome Dekinai to Dare ga Kimeta? : This novel is still in its early stages, but the story so far is great. The potential(?) main girl is the 7th most beautiful girl in the school (according to our MC). I say potential because it's still too early in the story for her to be the main girl. If you can recommend something similar, please do!
