Before I didn't pay attention... Kuahel Leon's attention towards Maxi is very confusing too. I want to read his POV: 1. He agreed to deliver Maxi's letter to Riftan despite it being kind of rude of Maxi to ask the commander of the Holy Knights to deliver a letter 2. He saved her when a troll attacked her and he knew it was Maxi hiding as a priestess. He told her he delivered the letter well. 3. He saved her when Maxi got attacked by some soldier, then he placed men to guard her and other priestesses. 4. He agreed to heal Maxi when she was dying despite him rushing as a commander to the Ethylen Castle to save it. 5. He covered her when Riftan found her hiding spying on him and Agnes and even played to make Riftan jealous as well. 6. He saved her when a stone snake statue was moving and attacking her. 7. He also went down the cliff to research for her and Riftan. 8. He was guarding her when they were researching the ruins. Even Riftan questioned to Maxi, why the commander of Holy Knights escorting her all the time? 9. He was with her in one team to spy on the monster's city and saved her many times from the monsters. And there were more in Book 2, but I don't remember... I had a silly hope of Maxi getting naked and going to the water too. Imagine how shocked Riftan and her would have been!
ha i see! however, somewhere in wikifandom not sure if it is reliable, usually it is, lol i read that he married max at 25 and 3 yrs later he was 28. gosh now im confused doesnt mean their age gap with max is big? the novels is still on-going in Book 2, Book 1 is finished. also, the links arent working because the one who posted them deleted their account.. riftan has his POV for the entire wedding night, it was sooooo painful to read, i think they're around here somewhere in other pages. a lot spoilers have descended in this forum, even the reason why riftan acted that way on their wedding night, bring some tissues or maybe ur blanket. seriously, u will need it.
Oh I know now why you are confused...ok let me explain, but I guess this is a spoiler for you.. Spoiler: Spoiler yes Riftan was 25 years old when he married maxi, they got separated for 3 years, so now the story begins with Riftan(28 years old) and Maxi(22), but they got separated again for another 3 years this time because maxi went to study magic...the age gap between them is 6 years... Ruth has elven blood that is why he appears younger but he is older than Riftan. I remember in one chapter, when he explained how elven blood affects him, Riftan was like"are u in your 80s, but Ruth was offended hahaha. Hope this helps.
About Ruth's age - - - I remember a post that with Ruth's elvish heritage he is older than he looks. And if he was in World Tower for decades. - - Because of that comment I am guessing he may be in his 40's or even more. If I come across info as I read the book I will let y'all know!
You need to read Riftan's Pov...it's available online till ch21 but it will help you solidify what u said.
but it is not known when chapter 107 of book two will be released, or is the author still on hiatus? I devoured the manhwa and out of curiosity I also read the whole novel, both the first part and the two. I love Riftan too much and I hope Maxi gets pregnant again

I think because he remembered the time when he used hallucinating magic to dream about her, he thought that was exactly what he saw in his hallucinations....i might not be right tho cuz it been along time since I read this chapter.

Exactly. She compares Maxi to herself. Rosetta is cold and cynical... Maxi isn't like her at all... Yes she has some issues doubting and trusting others, but she loves Riftan. In one interview the author said it took her at least 2 years to write the first book. Also she said that she has some other books to write before she finishes the second book, so I guess it takes a long time... I hope we will see a new chapter this years!

I read it in which page I don't remember exactly that chapter 193 was actually hebaron's POV. The scene where they sent Maxi off to Nornui.
I wonder how old is Agnes... Maximillian is 22 by the end of the Book One. Rosetta is 3 years younger, so she is 19. But Agnes seems older than Maximillian considering she joined the dragon subjugation, when Maxi was only 19 years old... So if they both were of the same age I don't think the King would've sent his only 19 y/o daughter to the expedition. It seems that Agnes is the same age as Riftan (28) or even older... What do you think guys? Ruth is around 35-40 I think. He said to Riftan that he's older than him, but not much... Also I found out through the author's interview that Riftan's height is 196cm! Maxi's 162cm! No wonder he looked scary when she met him I highly recommend reading the 180-181 chapters, it's when they both confess to each other how they felt when they saw each other before their marriage.
This is irrelevant but I'm kinda curious, did Ruth know that Maxi was the subject of Riftan hallucinations???? And how he reacted "if he knew"?
