What anime have you watched that is a complete dumpster fire but you. just. can't. stop. watching it? Mine would be Scum's Wish. To be clear, it's not a bad anime. But at that time, it didn't come to me that human relationships can be that messy. It left me unsettled every damn episode but I was just soo intrigued by it. Good thing that I found the real ending and I got my closure
“Not able to stop watching” doesn’t mean I love it. I wasn’t able to stop watching “Diabolik Lovers” Season 1. I loathed it with a burning passion, but I couldn’t stop watching, waiting, hoping the MC would grow a spine and go kamikaze on those aholes. She didn’t. And in utter disgust, I stopped watching. Didn’t watch Season 2.
Honestly i either like the anime or i dont. My favs are monogatari series, nisekoi, hyouka, that calligraphy anime (bake something), actually enjoyed SOA, HunterXHunter was awesome, Fate Stay Night, FMA Brotherhood, REALLY liked One Outs (underrated), and the Holy Grail of anime, Naruto
Gundam SEED, maybe? It was fun early on, until the Jesus Yamato plot came & the story just feel MEH for me after that
Honestly i feel blessed i never got into DBZ and Bleach and Fairy Tail. They all seem pretty bland and i would have gotten addicted and continue although they suck..
Yeah, and remember this was before watching anime on the internet was so easy to find, i could watch it on tv once a week. Then spend 10 weeks powering up and yelling.
I loved TG. Was excited in watching S1, S2(TG's re) kind of suck. I love the manga, but really dislike the anime as I find that a lot of details missing, so skipped watching
Attack On Titan. I got character death anxiety. I have to keep hoping whether my favorite character is alive or not. I read the manga
Fairy tail. It was good but the power of friendship was also kinda cringe. Highschool dxd. I was just there for the "art," but it gets cringey for this one too.
For me it would be "Vampire Knight". Now I don't believe that the anime itself was bad, it was good but I also read the manga and though the story was good, I hated the ending and that ruined my overall experience.
