Reverend Insanity I will never not recommend this story. Incredible world building, phenomenal story, and the absolute pinnacle of intriguing, likable, and clever characters. The only drawback is that the author was forced to drop the story because the philosophy and moral understanding that the novel follows tends to question higher organizations and centralized power. Like governments. Or communism. You can probably already tell where I'm going with this, but the novel is chinese. So yeah. The CCC can absolutely go eat shit.
Daoist Gu/Reverend Insanity and Transcendental Mechanic/The Legendary Mechanic For me those two are at the top and a tier above anything else, so if they're 5* there's no other 5* novels
