Liquid sealing methods for envelopes went the way of the dodo. Crinkly envelopes signal to the recipient that either: (1) the mailman sucks and got it all wet, OR (2) you slobbered all over the envelope. They won't know whether you used water or saliva. It's already 2021, post-pandemic era. Go get a glue stick if you don't want to pay extra for self-sealing envelopes. You can keep it around forever, it never dries out.
That's new to me I didn't know there were envelopes you were actually supposed to lick Uhhh... nope. My family always rips them open. I peel them open from where the seal is too, sometimes. Thus, my concerns.
It’s not like they were especially made for licking. I just thought they tasted really nice, that’s all. But I mean, that used to be the normal way to seal envelopes, you know?
Did you think most people bought those special sponges or something...? Most people aren’t going to bother with that...
If it's for something important I use glue but if I'm sending something to my family or friends I usually seal it with a cute sticker.
I spit in the palm of my hand then rub a finger in it and across the envelope, i'm not licking that shit it tastes like ass. (don't ask how i know!)
I only get those when i open envelopes, lol. At least the ones i've bought had the sticky part a bit removed from the edges. But yeah, nowadays all the mail i receive has been taped or glued shut, with the whole pandemic thing and paranoia about any transferrance of anything related to genetic material. (and i must say, last letter i sent out was ages ago). (p.s. i think it also came with a sticky strip where you pull off a bit of paper, like a bandage has and it then glues shut). It's gotten a lot easier for me to open the mail without accidentally ripping up a letter or cutting myself on it like an emo teen.
I was considering joking about using pre-cum but then i imagined the paper cut potential and cringed. I even came up with a name Herpes Express.
