To refrain from cutting accidents, fancy envelope openers like these exist Or a simple butter knife. But I have a fancy one, being it makes me feel...fancy.
Mails are so... last century xD. Jk i just use whatever is available idc. Sticky part of envelope if it has, staplers, glue or tape. I wouldnt lick it if there was any other choice. Yuck, not all envelopes are clean Though if u wanna try something unique, wax seal it. Idk, that seems fun.
Are they that lonely? I understand how some people mail out money (which isn't the best idea in the first place...) or steal identities or whatever, but I mean...I never understood, why steal a 7-year-old's letter to their pen pal and make them think they fell off, and their friendship wasn't strong enough.
I assume he's talking about packages and not envelopes, lol. Imagine having to open an envelope wrapped in duct tape....
I don't think i made one in the past. I think that mostly the only envelopes i've seen are from taxes or whatnot
All the envelopes is used were self sealing ones but if it’s really old and won’t stick I’ll use a dry glue stick .
Nowadays I just buy self-sealing envelopes for documents. A long time ago when I helped my mother send Seasons greetings cards every year, we had a small sponge set to wet fingertips. I don't remember what it was made from...It was just a small ceramic or plastic blue and shallow bowl about 5cm diameter? My dad also used it during some charity events when they needed to count banknotes. You can just wash or replace the sponge thing after every use.
Its envelope. Got atleast a dozen mails that should be in envelops delivered opened or missing the envelop itself. Well its usually company mails which is nothing really. Luckily the company decided to have a dedicated rider to send out mails and stuffs rather than dropping it at the post office.
dats some hory shet right there. All envelopes in general or the ones that have valuables in them, like when they hold it up against a light source they look through it and see money or cheques or whatever, even information to commit fraud is worth mnoney. Although that's mostly done digitally nowadays.
during Christmas time me and my siblings spend a few hours sealing stamping and addressing our christmas cards. we usually get a bowl, fill it with water and take a wash clothes to swipe it over the envelopes to seal them. sometimes the envelopes don't seal though so ill just use tape ^^
There's a dirty sponge in some post offices, not always, takes a look around, I don't have a water bottle. Dammit I don't want to lick an envelope.
