Someone recently shared this short test about what kind of multiplayer game (MMORPGS and such) player you are. I did it a while back before but decided to give it a try again. https://matthewbarr.co.uk/bartle/ It basically has 4 parameters and your given a % for each with the one with the highest value being your main My results were as such 67% explorer 60% Socialiser 40% Killer 33% Achiever Explorer was in the lead with Socialiser close behind If you're bored or have some time to waste it takes like 3 minutes
100% Socialiser 53% Explorer 27% Killer 20% Achiever Apparently this. I only play games with people I know or get to know people and play with them often so it's pretty accurate. It's more fun that way imo...
You are 73% Achiever What Bartle says: ♦ Achievers regard points-gathering and rising in levels as their main goal, and all is ultimately subserviant to this. Exploration is necessary only to find new sources of treasure, or improved ways of wringing points from it. Socialising is a relaxing method of discovering what other players know about the business of accumulating points, that their knowledge can be applied to the task of gaining riches. Killing is only necessary to eliminate rivals or people who get in the way, or to gain vast amounts of points (if points are awarded for killing other players). You are 73% Killer What Bartle says: ♣ Killers get their kicks from imposing themselves on others. This may be "nice", ie. busybody do-gooding, but few people practice such an approach because the rewards (a warm, cosy inner glow, apparently) aren't very substantial. Much more commonly, people attack other players with a view to killing off their personae (hence the name for this style of play). The more massive the distress caused, the greater the killer's joy at having caused it. Normal points-scoring is usually required so as to become powerful enough to begin causing havoc in earnest, and exploration of a kind is necessary to discover new and ingenious ways to kill people. Even socialising is sometimes worthwhile beyond taunting a recent victim, for example in finding out someone's playing habits, or discussing tactics with fellow killers. They're all just means to an end, though; only in the knowledge that a real person, somewhere, is very upset by what you've just done, yet can themselves do nothing about it, is there any true adrenalin-shooting, juicy fun. You are 87% Explorer What Bartle says: ♠ Explorers delight in having the game expose its internal machinations to them. They try progressively esoteric actions in wild, out-of-the-way places, looking for interesting features (ie. bugs) and figuring out how things work. Scoring points may be necessary to enter some next phase of exploration, but it's tedious, and anyone with half a brain can do it. Killing is quicker, and might be a constructive exercise in its own right, but it causes too much hassle in the long run if the deceased return to seek retribution. Socialising can be informative as a source of new ideas to try out, but most of what people say is irrelevant or old hat. The real fun comes only from discovery, and making the most complete set of maps in existence. You are also: 60% Achiever 33% Killer 20% Socialiser
I agree, but it's usually the case with such tests. Adding things to cater for everyone makes it impossible to calculate. And it's just what you prefer more among the options. Not what you would do exactly.
80% Achiever 80% Killer 27% Explorer 13% Socialiser 80% killer?? Come oon! The other choices were bs so what should have i done ?
73% Explorer 73% Achiever 47% Socializer 7% Killer Ah yup. both explorer and achiever, just slightly half-assed. I tend to go for open world games, and try to efficiently complete achievements along the way... i'd drop it if it gets too grindy tho. 47% socializer. I mostly play solo, but I like playing with some coop or guilds. also to flex my achievements lol. 7% Killer. well I suck at PvP. and it tends to get toxic there, so i avoid it if possible.

Wow 100 Indeed it's quite basic with only 2 options after all. Plus sometimes you don't agree with either one of them
You are 80% Explorer You are also: 53% Achiever 40% Socialiser 27% Killer I don't play online games so I have no clue why my socialiser is at 40%, but considering I played Genshin Impact purely for the exploration, I think 80% for explorer is accurate.
I found the questions awkward and the answer options not fitting my actual tastes and the result came out wrong. Said I was only 13% killer and was 60% explorer. Its probably because my experience with online games has mostly been on games way past their social prime or with few players to begin with. Game mechanics, skill challenge, items and world map isn't really enticing. I play for the numbers going up, in whatever manner that happens and for the lore and flavor text. Once the first stalls (grinding increases latter half of the lv system) and the second dries up because of that, I am gone.

Someone were more a case of what was less uninteresting or more palatable as opposed to liked better. I do agree with the results basically. You give me a big open world MMO and more than likely i'll be more interested in the world itself, the lore and speculating about why some things are the way they are than i would be in pvp, battling and stuff.
