Please recommend me novel with mc and other characters that are not brain-dead like most romance novel out there. I'm tired of reading about stupid mc who made stupid decisions with stupid bystanders and equally stupid villain. Example of stupidity : mc : saw bf/gf cheating with other person also mc : stays because of love (???) villain : beautiful, smart and was born in rich family also villain : try to trip mc in broad daylight (???) friends: heard nasty rumor about mc from villain also friends : believe the rumor despite being bff with mc (???) ??? I'm done with stupidity in romance novels. Any other novels is fine, as long as the characters have a working brain.
I can recommend [The Law of Webnovels] to you. I really like the character development, their everyday problems and fears. Even the Isekai part is shown really differently.

Up to a certain point, I'll even go along with trusting issues. You never trust someone you have just met, regardless of whether you have been isekaid or not. Trust should develop, regardless of whether it is in RL or a novel. But I can't stand it if it takes to long or never happens x.X Maybe the MCs think they can change the ML? I dont know.

It doesn't have manga adaptation yet(atleast no tag on NU). It is popular novel by grumpy crab and completely translated in 2019. Furthermore it keep showing in recommedations for good romance novel. Also there are few novel either by similar initial plot or name. Maybe that's why you found it familiar.
