    Laws take into account the offender's own age when deciding to pass judgement.

    In some countries, it is illegal for a 25 year old man to fuck 15 year old girl, but it is not illegal for another 15 year old boy to fuck that same 15 year old girl.

    Laws also take into account the type of relationship you have. If for example you're a 25 year old man having a romantic relationship with a 15 year old girl, but you don't fuck her or snap nudes of her, the law has nothing to prosecute you with. Simple affection is not against the law.

    Apart from that, laws also take into account your gender. In Japan for example, a 22 year old man having sex with a 14 year old girl can go to prison. However, if it's a 22 year old woman having sex with a 14 year old boy, it's only a misdemeanor and the 22 year old woman will only have it as part of her police record but not go to jail or lose her job for it.

    So Ai-chan doesn't see how you would be a lolicon when you're also only 8 year old.

    I assume you mean like... "If I was reincarnated, and started liking a girl my age when I was 8" or something?

    In that case, it varies. Being reincarnated and living in a child's body has chances of messing up your mindset and make you naturally want to get attracted to people your age. In that case it would just be a normal attraction.

    If OTOH the reincarnation changed nothing about your mindset, then I'd say it would classify as pedophilia.
