I generally dislike novels with child-raising, because in them usually child-rasing gives up the stage to romance, and I hate usual romance in novels with a passion. So... How about child-raising slice of life novels where mc (regardless of male or female or what not) stays a single parent for most of the novel. Nothing too heavy though.
Good luck all the ones I’ve found are usually the mom is some actress/model/singer who disappears or whatnot and mc wants to woo her
the only one I know of is Delicate Mother of a Villain the novel has a lack of common sense tag (which is true, so don't hop in with big brain expectations) there's no romance tag or MLs to distract MC from raising her cute son! mostly about eating and becoming outrageously beautiful lol
Have a Meal Before You Go. Child-rearing not the main focus here as MC mainly deals with cooking at his own restaurant, but at least this has no romance (as far as I've read). MC takes care of a baby dragon he randomly finds at the market, and then her brother shows up and staying with MC. Pretty laid-back I'd say, though MC is super OP, nobody actually knows his power and only see him as a restaurant owner, and MC pretty much stays true to his job as a chef. I Became a Father. Because of circumstances, MC taking care of a baby. This one has more focus on childcare, though he also going into dungeon often but that is to have money for buying milk and any necessity his daughter needs. The translation kinda confusing though, I warn you.
I hate most romance in novels, there are lots of novels that get it right. And many more that got it wrong but I read them anyway, because I don't hate a genre without prior experience in reading it
Try my son is a reborn villain. Even though it has ml but focus is mostly on mc raising her son even ml focus is mostly on son . And Mc and her son moments are cute especially when son was less then a year old. Ml and Mc get together like in last episodes that too when son accepts ml . The villain is happy being a father . Male mc . No cp Call me the mother of qt .fmc
Rebirth of the Evil Mother-In-Law It’s doesn’t fit the exact description, but the MC has a divorce and raises her daughter(who is already 15+ years old - i don’t remember). It only has romance in the extras. It’s not exactly child-raising, i guess? I’m not sure.
