Was the real reason why Shuli was murdered brought to light? Because from what I could get, she was killed to start a war that the church would benefit from, and the dark skinned blue eyed man realized it and was trying to find physical evidence to put her killers behind bars. Does he succeed?
Wait a minute. So the aunt of Jeremy was equally useless since doesn’t help Shuli at all. In the manga Shuli is looking for witnesses to prove everything but I guess she was beyond useless and just wanted to see Shuli grovel.
The true reason is she is a convenient noble to be killed. She wasn't raised a noble so people looked down on her background. She was a look-alike of the previous empress so people began to suspect foul play. She inherited her husband's estate and she has a shortage gap with her supposed son so people's dirty minds and gossipmongers will have a field day. She made some bad decisions so those further made her like she wasn't a person who belong nor deserved her position. She was a convenient person to kill coz most of her peers don't really accept her but she is a legal noble nonetheless. The reason Nora (the dark-skinned guy) was trying to investigate was that he did felt in love with her and she showed him a side that he never got from his parents nor peers. Jeremy, her oldest stepson, is also looking for justice for her but he is in a quandary because he wasn't supposed to fell in love with his stepmother. Yup., The woman's pride has no bounds.
This confuses me as well. Can someone explain or clarify what really is going on? I thought Albrecht has recognized Shuli's worth in the manhwa.
@Natamcia's post refers to the flashback scene where we were presented how she died. Since we do have the time travel element, the current Albrecht has changed his opinion of Shuli, and thankfully won't be associated with how she will come to harm.
Yes, In her 2nd life Shuli along with the other characters found out who was trying to kill her and they succeed on giving them punishment. But in her 1st life they didn't get to punished the killer and all went downhill.
Heyhey! So Shuli was taken in as the marquis bride because she looks like his dead crush, the empress. Is there any correlation between her and the empress? Are they related, or is it just a coincidence?
oh wow this reply just made me hate elias more just when i already dislike him enough after he threw rock at shuli anyway does anyone know more spoiler about diane? cause im curious how diane and jeremy really feel towards each other since it took a while for jeremy to cool down his unrequited love for shuri
Spoiler: Not spoiler, my thoughts I know right, i really wished nora and jeremy would tell them that their “divine” father actually tortured her, let them be in pain for their guilts for hurting her more, while they live care-freely because of her protection but keep blaming + hurting her. Spoiled brats, i also hate their mother family, bruh you guys fuckin blame shulli, when their own daughter already passed away, and think shulli stole their daughter place, when they most likely knew that she is their (those children, offspring of their own family that they love) last defense against the whole nobility. Fuck they even have the gals to say that they love their daughter (the mother/first wife). Theyre not even willling to help testify for their own grandson in the court. What you think if shulli lost, your grand children gonna be safe and sound?? I hate all of them
Thank you all for the spoilers . But seriously , if anyone can atleast MLT the gambling casino incident and the fall of the crown prince please do post it here... Really want to see that happen
Really, I don't know if anyone mentioned this already but their generation was really like the previous generation love triangle version 2. Of course, as Jeremy said, he wasn't like his father so they end in a more peaceful note and Theodor 'love' wasn't exactly romantic actually. But yeah, I just get that vibe that they're the next generation cast and I find it amusingly funny despite it being a real tragic. P.s. I always feel conflicted with the second CP (eliasXohara). I feel they are a well match and cute somehow but also, both of them are such... such... such freaking intolerable villains that got mixed up in the protagonist party. I wanna squish them hard. Oh but Ohara in the manwha was more tolerable.
I know that Elias is a brat but didn't he only married Ohara in the 1st tl? It's a completely asshole move that just further destroy and separate his family but then again, in the current (2nd) timeline, he's a good son right now (still bratty but otherwise funny and not an ass like 1st tl). I very much look forward to the story and I think someone have already mentioned it but I would love to read the translated novel if it's available ~
Can someone explain to me the whole deal about the priest and shuli? I gt it was love at first sight (when he was the priest wedding johannes and shuli together) but what does this mean for the late empress? did he have feelings for her too, or...? also, someone slide me for reccs like this please, I'm hooked after binging this whole thing in a day
I saw someone say that the Cardinal just so happened to be obsessive, like the way he grew up made him really twisted and pent up desires was so overwhelming that when he "fell in love" with Shuri he was very conflicted with himself hence he had no problem getting her murdered that way in the 1st TL and knowing she was a virgin uhh.. well.. made him want her even more in the 2nd TL...
Thanks so much for all the spoilers! I just found out about this manhwa the other day and finished all available chapters in one night after crying my eyes out. I love everything and the plot is so new and fascinating! I guess I also have second ML syndrome here too lol I feel regretful for Jeremy. Just my 2 cents and don’t get me wrong I love the ending and I simp hard for NoraxShuli and all but I still wish that Jeremy had a chance to confess to her even if it wasn’t going to work out then he could tell her that he’d get over it and wish her happiness, that way he could move on and he deserves better. Also because there’s nothing more sorrowful than a love that had grown so big but had to be hidden until it vanished without the other person knowing. Sorry I can’t confirm for ya but just my thought. Albert was def the reason why Shuli got killed in the first timeline. Albert used to work the church (not sure but he def had connection with the church since the manhwa showed that he came to the church to pray) before he became the knight of the Neuschwanstein. He often hung out with the blond hair dude from the church and he helped him with the church stuff too so the Cardinal mf ordered the blond dude to extract info from Albert. Albert was the head of the knights and Shuli’s escort so he of course knew more about what was going on in the household. Albert was frustrated with how Shuli left the household in the first timeline and he talked about it with the blond hair dude and that was how the church knew her specific route. Shuli probably figured it out in second timeline since she sensed the church’s intention of killing her off much earlier and also probably figured out it was Albert since he was the only one in the household that had connection with the church. Albert being shocked and willing to be executed might be because he realized that either him not fulfilling his duty to protect her or his stupid gossiping that led to Shuli’s brutal death.
I know this sounds stupid but in a Facebook post, someone spoil that Johannes used to abuse Shuli and is not a good as we all thought? Can someone please confirm it for me?
