Any angst BL for me to read? Cuz I don't like bl where it's just slice of life or what not. It's just feels like a boring cruise on the highway. I like drama and excitement
A really good one (in my opinion) that I'm currently reading is Mistakenly Saving the Villain. https://www.novelupdates.com/series/mistakenly-saving-the-villain/ This one's pretty interesting if you're into modern medicine mixed with Xianxia herbal treatments. I'm big on remedies and pill forging, so I picked it up. The other one I quite like is Everyday the Demon Lord is Escaping his Marriage (https://www.novelupdates.com/series/everyday-the-demon-lord-is-escaping-his-marriage/) This one tugged a bit at my heartstrings because the demon lord was really desperate. He learns his lesson after he dies, but eventually there's a push and pull feeling with the main lead. I don't particularly read modern day stuff, unfortunately.
Ummm.... They both feel more like fluff of a easy crushing relationship... Im talking about angst. Like I want abusive stuff. They both both look very abusive

I recommend Sect Master and Psycho. Its a short story with only 30 chapters and 2 extras. The beginning is a bit angsty but the later part is full of sweetness. Anyways I just currently finished reading this now and I must say that it's very good!

Well, it's quite tragic... Rebirth of Brotherly Love- the plot of this novel really made is so, the protagonists misunderstood each other. So, harsh~ The Paranoid Emperor’s Black Moonlight Shizun - this one is like mistakenly save the villain. But ml killed mc many times, so I guess it's has more angst. The White-eyed Wolves I Personally Raised Are All Coveting My Legacy - ml is so miserable in this novel. I Don’t Dare to Oppose a Protagonist Anymore- this novel was actually ok at the start. Its ml's problem that made their relationship crumble. Sickly Tyrannical- I was pitted by this novel, now I don't want to read tragedies anymore. Living to Suffer- this is mother novel I'm afraid to read. This is super tragic. Xia Niangniang Cold Sands And also those bl QT. Scum Shou and scum gong.
Oh boy. I'll vouch that MISVIL - the first one, is not fluffy at all. The abuse doesn't just come from one person.... But the Demon Lord one I'll admit is on the sweeter side.
Chasing Tides has a lot of drama, poor poor MC, but of course the drama part has to end eventually Welcome Home I think will give you the angsty excitement
Turns Out I’m Crazy - Self cest. MC tortures his love interest to death then gets reborn as him in the past. He gets pursued by 'himself'. He realizes how crazy/yandere he was towards his crush(?). Since he knows what he makes 'himself' tick, he also punishes 'himself' and hit him where it hurts the most. He's hurting, his past self is hurting. Angst. Angst. Angst.
